They send a financial aid email a few days after acceptance. When I opened mine, it completely waived all tuition and multiple other things as well so keep an eye out for that. Congrats future classmate!

We’re almost certainly waitlisted or R at this point. Seems pretty consistent that people get put on waitlist around 2nd week of April. GL everyone
 
Per last year thread, last wave of A's was the week of Mar 22nd. So yeah, if we get nothing this week, we are holding tight to see if we got WL or R.

WL is certainly not the end of the road for this program though! Lots of movement

Yes, WL moves a ton. During my interview day, the student ambassador said half of her classmates came from the WL. Also, have you seen the people getting accepted lately? Academic studs with multiple top 20 As, including scholarships, I think many will opt for other programs, just my 2 cents.

I agree with this. Alot of individuals getting accepted likely will use this financial aid package as leverage at a ranked institution.
 
all these CR emails are ruining my pet theory that they would release final decisions tomorrow 💀

If I HAD to guess, they’re behind. I don’t think it’s a soft launch of anything. I do think come April most of us still waiting will receive a R or a WL though. (All just my own thoughts, no special knowledge or insider info here).

At this point, accepted students weekend is coming up… are they gunna host a second one or..?

As someone accepted, I have yet to get an email or portal update indicating a second student weekend in case we couldn't make this one or if they admit others. I'll keep you guys updated if they release anything which may ease your nerves. My guess is they have to send stuff out fairly soon if they expect yall to attend the event.

They're behind. I stalk their social media (lol), and the admission teams have been traveling recently, attending events.

absolutely ludicrous we would be expected to go to second look which occurs in... two weeks. that is IF they're still giving out first round A's anyway. honestly so frustrated with them over this; I feel it is very unprofessional and inconsiderate.

My thought is they would have to give you a second, second look. There no way they can expect you to just fly or drive to LA in such short notice, even with them covering the cost.

That’s kinda why I am thinking maybe there’s no more As coming at this point… 😭

Based on last year, those of us without As are now waiting for WL or R. Traffic rules require them to have filled the class at this point.

If extended an A later, a few people reported last year that Kaiser offered to reimburse them for travel and stay to check out the campus on their own.

Traffic Rules are guidelines; they don't have to abide by the March 15th deadline to enroll that many people, although they probably should. It even states it here "These guidelines are not intended to supersede the policies, timelines, or discretion of the individual schools or programs."

Have these post interview update emails been a thing in past cycles? If not then maybe they are actually behind this year. But if they are classic protocol, we can probably assume WL or R.
 
I called again, and this time they said they plan on getting the decisions out “within the next 2 weeks”, and that they were waiting on CYMS action so that they don’t over-admit

Nope😭. The worst part about this is that in last year’s thread, Feb interviews got their decision about a month later. We are going on 2 months with no answer back. I don’t even feel the anxiety anymore, just pure apathy.
