2024-2025 Loyola (Stritch)

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I saw on cycle track that a lot of Pre-II R's went out today, but (considering that I never received an II), I am wondering why I did not receive mine either. I was complete in August.
Based off cycle track, it appears that last cycle most rejections went out the same day and a couple weeks ago they told me that they interview through February.
I am just going to assume that more R's will be rolling out soon.

Unfortunately they’re done 🙁 I received a rejection this morning and it stated “We are sending this notice to inform you that our interviews have been completed for this cycle, and we will not be able to offer you an interview for the class of 2029.”

Yeah I guess so, just different compared to most other schools I have applied to.

Also, thanks! This is the best comment I have received yet on my username LOL

Anyone having issues submitting the parent data form? I put all the information and click submit only for it to give me a completely blank page. I closed out and reopened it only to find everything I filled out to be gone. Tried calling the financial aid office but it automatically hangs up.

Do you have to submit this form if you only get accepted? How do you access this form?

Has anyone else been waiting for over the 6 week mark post interview for decision? I’m at week 9 lol, expecting R at this point… 🙁

Congrats to all of you guys! 🥳🥳 Out of curiosity, did any of yall send letters post II? (if so how many). I’m on CC and trying to do anything to get that A😅. Ty and congrats!!!
I sent a letter of interest like 3-4 weeks ago I think!

I sent thank you letters post interview, but that was it. When I got the call today, they told me over the phone that official emails were going out tomorrow. Good luck to all!!

2 updates, and 2 interest letters
Did you had a significant update when you were sending the updates and interest letters? I am also on the CC and was hopping to send more update/interest but don’t have much of an update. Only continued extracurricular which I have said on my last letter.

A yesterday at 1:53 PDT. Interviewed 2/27. Does anyone have any resources for scholarships? I am trying to dig a little but am not seeing much. Don't want to fill out the merit scholarship form without knowing what they're looking for first.

It seems as if they are accepting people from different interview dates at random. I interviewed the week of 2/27 as well and I’m curious when I should expect to hear back. Does anyone know?

interviewed 2/4, remember them saying 4-6 weeks... but no answer yet

What happens on April 30?
Applicants must narrow to 1 acceptance, but can remain on as many WL as they want. From this point on people can only have 1 acceptance. Schools might give you a few days to weeks to respond to offers though.

Is it safe to assume this is the period where a lot of dominos fall and waitlists clear? I’m not sure how much movement there is gonna be until then.

Maybe slow movement, if any, until then as people drop acceptances. Then may 1st and on it should be a little quicker since people are required to be timely with their decisions.

is the parent info required if you apply for merit scholarship

has anyone else still not gotten a pre II R? I figure they’re done interviewing, but I still haven’t gotten the R email? Last year when I applied the email came out early March and I’ve seen a bunch come out this month via cycle track. I’m just confused and wanna wrap my cycle up

If I remember correctly, you must fill it out to be considered. However, I might be confusing that with the merit one.

Still waiting. It appears they are sending the Pre-II R’s in batches this year.
It looks like they are sending some out each week since early March.
