Is it normal for the CYMS tool to not even pop up? Im assuming that means that hasn't been any change on that front then?

Mine also doesn't have a CYMS tool yet I received the email. Does this mean I was rejected?

U can only see CYMS if ur accepted to any AMCAS school. with a single acceptance all your WL will pop up too but if u only have WL it won’t pop up. So no it does not mean you were rejected.

I can finally see my decision I got waitlisted. So it’s not the worse thing that could happen but now I gotta keep waiting. They said they won’t revisit it my app till June

Has anyone who interviewed at the end of November or in December heard back yet? I interviewed in early December and I know I’ll hear back eventually, but it’s brutal driving past the campus on my way to work every morning and thinking maybe today is finally the day.

I interviewed 11/18 and just got my decision yesterday.

I can finally see my decision I got waitlisted. So it’s not the worse thing that could happen but now I gotta keep waiting. They said they won’t revisit it my app till June

I was accepted a week later of being waitlisted so keep checking your portal for updates as I did not receive an email when accepted 🫣

I would give it some time, but now that you have an actual WL decision, you are free to send them letters. This can be an update letter and/or letter of intent. You could even combine the two I suppose?

Tbh I'm not sure, but I think if you have any meaningful significant updates you could do it now I suppose. If you would consider sending a letter of intent, which is binding and you saying you would 100% attend if accepted, then you could probably even do it now and weave in some smaller updates. No one knows when you'd get re reviewed, but I think someone got WL and then accepted already in this thread if I remember correctly? Might have to double check that.

I was waitlisted and then accepted the week after. I sent a letter of intent the same day i got waitlisted. I'm not sure if it helped but even if you don't want to commit to enroll in nova I think it's worth it to send an update and reiterate interest

Hi!

I am currently waitlisted and wanted to get some insight before sending a letter of intent and would really appreciate hearing your thoughts 🙂

A. Are the exams a mixture of NBME and in house exams?

B. Do you feel like you really need to use in house resources to pass exams.

C. Do you or other student struggling with academics feel supported.

D. How many in person days are required per week for classes and labs.

(The rest are more into third and fourth years so I’d appreciate any insight you or any of your upper-class men have. )

E. How easy is it to get research opportunities/attending mentorship - do you have to go out of your way to other institutions like UM or is there more then enough to go around.

F. Any insight on quality of rotations I hear HCA has some troubling news about their hospitals.
