2024-2025 Penn State

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Sorry I meant to the same school. I forgot detail in my first
That makes more sense lol. I believe 1 letter of intent is standard. Any additional letters would be application updates if there are any significant changes to your application. However, Penn State doesn't accept updates so I wouldn't.

anyone know how strict that june 1st deadline is for getting all our immunizations done?

Do you think they'd tell you where you stand on the WL if you asked? I want to know if I have any realistic chance at a seat or if I'm just at the bottom of this list *sad face of despair*

To anyone who has been accepted: did ANY of you NOT submit a letter of recommendation from a non-science faculty? If anyone is on the GroupMe and wants to do me a solid, please ask.

People who have gotten the call - can you share the number they called you from? If I am a lucky chosen one, I don’t want to accidentally ignore it thinking it’s spam 😅

Congrats on the A! IS applicant who just got off the Hold List today, do you know how long it takes for CYMS to appear in AMCAS?

for me it was a couple hours after I received the offer of admissions email. I'm not sure if it'll take longer for you because of the weekend

The dean replied to my question about additional recs and said the committee is continuously reviewing our completed applications (which we already know from the waitlist notification email)… but that’s all I know. Oh and the general admission email was a little snippetty about me reaching out to the dean (like she said to!)
Yeah whoever responds to admissions questions from the admissions email could be a little more courteous and professional. I know we’ve been told there’s no timeline but they’ve gotta put themselves in our shoes and realize that it’s torturous to wait this long—especially with deadlines coming up.
