I submitted almost all my DO apps in the mid/late summer and wished I added PCOM. Do you think it’s too late to submit or just wait until next cycle if I have to reapply?

Does anybody know whether they release all acceptance or rejections or waitlist once in six weeks or is there any pattern.

they say 4-8 weeks for a decision post interview. if you interviewed thanksgiving and after, expect a bit of a delay. a lot of folks in the past get 10 week turnarounds for an interview that happened during the holidays. keep your head up!

I log onto the portal and it'll show me the four bars, but then it'll glitch and all the bar disappear. When I refresh they are back (but again disappear). Is anyone else seeing this? :') Is this a system glitch or did they reject me TT_TT I can't tell

Not for me. I'm still at four bars, but there's no glitching. Still waiting for an II.

pcom does mass rejections at the end of the cycle whether it's pre II R or waitlist

im sorry, are you asking if they'll still be interviewing for waitlist positions after the cycle ends, or if they're currently interviewing for waitlist? I don't know the answer to either question, but this isnt my first cycle with pcom and they tend to completely ghost then hit everyone with a rejection at the very end of the cycle unless you've already interviewed (then they get back to you obviously)

if any current students can chime in please do bc im going insane w the rest of the 4 bar gang

I think that's the beginning of classes because in AACOMAS it says that the first term is summer 3, and the pcom calendar says that the 3rd summer session begins 6/30.

I'm losing hope this cycle. Not only is the cycle two months shorter than it's always been (meaning that they'll fill their class quicker) but I'm a low stat applicant. I applied earlyish, but had a friend with similar stats apply in like late fall and they interviewed within a month. What a toss up lol
 
would anyone be willing to PM me about their virtual interview experience? I’m super excited and just scheduled it for tomorrow 😀
 
i see 7 bars and 2 drop down. what does it mean . pretty anxious to know the outcome ?
no call or email ?

OOS A!! Got a phone call this morning!! Interviewed 12/9
Edit: I got an email saying my portal was updated about an hour after receiving the phone call

congratulations to those that were accepted today! I emailed admissions asking for clarification on the pace of the cycle and received this in response:

"With the new academic calendar, classes will begin, June 30, 2025.
Specific questions, please email ([email protected])

We're in the thick of interviews. They'll continue to April, and maybe May. Interview invite are sent out frequently; check your portal/email periodically to see if you're chosen. If you're not, you'll be notified after classes have started."

fear not, fellow 4 bar soldiers. we will hear back soon hopefully (please)

I submitted my secondary payment on 10/2, has anyone who submitted everything around that time heard anything back?
 
Is it possible to interview at both PCOM Philadelphia and PCOM South Georgia

if you applied to both and received individual II to both then why not? aren't they two separate admissions committees anyways
 
I have been accepted to pcom and I got the pcom user name and passwd to the portal and also got email id.
But the login is not working. I have sent them ema. Anybody else facing the issue.
 
Any idea if PCOM accepts updates? My MCAT is high (518) but I would still be extremely interested in attending PCOM, and would like to send updates I have and a letter expressing this interest so that they know they are not just a "backup" for me.
