From Pitt's website verbatim:

• When is it an appropriate time for me to follow-up with the UPSOM?
  Our Admissions Committee welcomes letters of intent/interest and updates to your application. The most appropriate time to follow-up with us is following your interview or after the receipt of your official admissions decision. Communications can be sent via postal mail or to our admissions mailbox at [email protected]. Any communication received from the applicant will be included in their admissions file within 24 – 48 hours upon receipt. Applicants can check the admissions portal to confirm that their documents were added to their application.

I actually just got the email after seeing it on my portal 10 mins beforehand. So maybe it was delayed or something for others. Still super heartbreaking

lol it’s pretty clear that it’s a rejection and it’s under “application status.” There won’t be any confusion

I just wanted to comment that my application was completed on 10/02, and I got an II on 10/10 (which was shocking) to encourage others waiting that there is still hope. I am entirely trusting in God in this process.
