Do we need to have one semester of biochemistry or can it be one quarter? Would a second semester of organic chemistry satisfy the requirement if 1 quarter of biochem isn't enough?

I love U Pitt for their methodical way of doing things. Based on the complete date people post here, you know where you are exactly. It is not that you don't have a chance if your completed date is passed. But, it means they looked at your application and decided to not send II at this point of time. They might come back later to review again to send an II or send a rejection. Nevertheless, you have clarity where you are based on your complete date. If all other schools follow the same approach, they would save a lot of time and emotional energy of the folks here.

I submitted 8/12 lolll so this makes me nervy

I'm in the exact same position. LM of 72 but very strong ECs and primary writing. Complete 7/18 and assuming an R. Making me question the quality of my secondaries now... Lol.
don't be! ive got a similar LM too! lets stay optimistic and believe that it will alll work out
