has anyone not received any communication from here? i haven't received an ii or a rejection in the portal/email so idk if im being ghosted or what
 
this might be a shot in the dark but does anyone know if it’s possible to get in state tuition as an OOS student beyond the first year? is it possible to establish NJ residence post MS1?

For all my HPWL and WL peeps, May is our month 🙏. Has anyone called about their standings on the WL or is there no ranking yet?
 
Anyone know if a letter of interest would be beneficial at this point for HPWL? I don't really have any updates so I'm not sure whether to send one or not. I did send one back in January that mentioned they were my top choice

this is just speculation but I feel like it probably can’t hurt— I sent one in a few days ago. fingers crossed 🙂
 
It’s a little too quiet here… guessing no WL movement yet, or there has been and its just unreported

People on the HPWL got an email saying that the class is full, and that movement may or may not happen for awhile. Seems like everyone who got accepted this year really wants to go there over any other school.

The email seemed a bit optimistic to me. They said the class was full but that they do anticipate movement as students notify of their intended matriculation after May 2nd (late spring/early summer)
 
do any current students know how the merger will affect residence placements, since the class size will now be doubled under one medical school name?

unsure, but I feel like it won't be impacted significantly--right now (pre-merger), they still take that same number from two medical schools, so why would they drastically lower the number of students they take from that same pool just under one name

did you send a recent letter of interest? It basically was asking ppl to note if they're still interested. Maybe if you sent one already they didn't send it to you

So, if I understand correctly, they overenrolled for this year. In that case, what typically happens over the next couple of weeks (based on previous years facts), and how does this situation work in favor of High Priority (HP) or the Waitlist (WL)?

Has anyone heard anything about waitlist movement?
Has anyone spoken with admission office? Please share any updates if you have.
 
I'm guessing movement might be happening, just not being reported? I'd be pretty shocked if no WL movement has happened at all.
 
tried calling admissions but haven’t gotten through yet—was anyone able to get a hold of them?
