How long did it take to get an email response to an update letter? Still haven’t received a response after sending it a while back

I actually had to follow up to confirm they received it so idk if they actually send confirmations to everyone.

They responded to mine in like an hour but this was 3-4 weeks ago so it could be that they're getting busier and busier.
Also the tone of their response seemed like they had already uploaded it when they received it and just hadn't responded.

I feel the same way! 😢I feel like we'd be lucky to hear back next week considering last year applicants did not hear back until the 9th, but fingers crossed. I can't take the anxiety anymore lol.

Last year people heard back Feb 9 but it looked like the year before that it was Feb 2… I know tomorrow is a Sunday so that would be crazy but perhaps it’s coming up very soon?
The waiting would be easier if we at least knew what date we’re waiting for haha

that was a friday and a wednesday (and theres another friday the year before), so I expect news will come sometime wed-fri

No, but since they send you the interview schedule over email the day off, it’s better to have taken the whole day off work/classes etc

Admissions stated results will be released early to mid February. Also based on previous cycles that info is accurate. The specific day they start will likely not be released to students as they will then get flooded with emails

It also looked like in previous years, post-II decisions were preceded by a wave of pre-II R’s. So if people start reporting those R’s that’s probably a sign that decisions are coming within the next day or two. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Unfortunately I am right there with ya with the neuroticism and I *do* have this info off the top of my head.

2022: 2/2, Wednesday
2023: 2/2, Thursday
2024: 2/9, Friday

2021 and earlier it was multiple waves starting in December so less applicable to this cycle.

Historically they’ve released near 4/5 PM PST.

Yeah there was a round of pre-II R’s a couple days before decision release in 2023. Not sure about 2022, didn’t look for it but I imagine the same as well.

Historically, it seems they release it sometime in the afternoon it seems. Like in 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 they released around 12:15 PM according to the previous postings

I also wouldn't be shocked if it was Friday just because I feel like sometimes people throw out roughly 24-48 hours but they just mean sometime soon/this week but I'm probably being pessimistic lol
