Do you all know the last time you can hear A off waitlist? Probably before the class starts right ?
So confused about reapplying. TMDSAS opens May 1, submission starts May 15. I wish I could know before then, either A or R.

The latest you can get accepted off the waitlist is the start of orientation in July.

+1 A yesterday off the waitlist!! Interview 3/28, WL 4/9. It was a very sweet and surreal phone call! Looking forward to meeting everyone, and best of luck those who are also on the WL! 😊
Congrats! Also did the admissions office call you? or was it the dean?

Do you mind saying your stats? Like MCAT and gpa? I’m wondering if they are pulling from higher MCAT/ gpa first

Your MCAT and GPA qualified you to go for an interview. After that it's only one factor in selection including your interview day

What’s the other factor after the interview? I was just wondering bc a lot of people seem to be getting off the WL from the 3/28 days but I interviewed in January and not many people from then seem to be off the WL yet.

There's not another factor after the interview. They will discuss everyone after an interview day and take all the parts of their application into consideration to decide on hold, WL, or Acceptance.

Hoping us Jan people get some love too
It was our handshakes! We walked outside in the cold, we got cold, and then we extended our cold hands. In March, applicants had nice, warm hands. If UIWSOM interviews in May, think how an applicant's hot, sweaty hand is going to come across. When this is an old post being read by someone strategizing on how to gain an advantage, the takeaway is to bring gloves to winter interviews.

Congratulations! So happy for you. Could you share your stats please ?
LM 63, non-trad, 3 years of part-time DIY post bacc, 2500 clinical hours, 7300 employment hours, 1800 community service hours, 2300 extracurricular hours, 70 shadowing hours.

I want to add that I truly believe in the mission, and I think that is what got me in this position.

+1 IS A last night via email! No call, email was sent after business hours (so I thought it was an R initially😀). Interviewed 02/28, waitlist 04/09. LM 67, 1 gap yr, ~500 clinical employment, ~100 clinical volunteering, ~1200 leadership hrs, ~300 community service, ~90 shadowing hrs.
