Application was verified on 6/28 and still haven't received secondaries. Should I contact them?
I would, I don’t think it’ll hurt to ask

Question on answering questions 3 or 4. Do we need to state what question we picked or do we just paste the response?

Received an II from here a few weeks ago and have my interview soon. There was a post on here a while ago that went into really great detail about the interview day, which was super helpful and calmed my nerves. Wondering if anyone else has any more information to add or wants to share their experience as well. I am super excited but also pretty nervous with it being my first one. Any information/tips are appreciated! -and good luck to everyone else!

Hello all, I just wanted to share my experience with the interview. I received my acceptance 10 days from my interview date (interviewed on a Monday, acceptance received the next Wednesday). Interview day was from 8:30-3:00ish which consisted of some background about the school, three 30 minute solo interviews with staff, some more information sessions, lunch, and a tour of the campus. The college is very mission driven and seems to be one of the key qualities they are looking for in their applicants. Do not get overly stressed about the interview day here. No one is there to intimidate you or grill you with hard questions. Know your application and know the school and the interviews will feel more like a conversation than an interview. I wish everyone the best of luck!

did they call, send an email, or was your portal updated when you found out you were accepted?

I received a call and the portal was updated on the same day. But looking at last years' forum, it seems like the phone call isn't standard so I would keep checking the portal!

I know it was mentioned that a deposit is due in September, but on their website it says December. For those who have been accepted, have you received any clarification on this?

I believe the official due date rn is October 1

I was accepted 12 days after my interview, never received a call but saw the update on my portal and received a letter in the mail a week later. The deposit in the letter says October 1st $1500

How many rounds of interviews have been sent? Looks like at least 1 or two from this thread.

Anyone else still not receive the secondary?
I’m not sure if this helps but when I got my secondary last month, it went into my spam/promotions folder. The email will say it’s from Dr. Michael Rice of admissions.

Thanks for replying, but I have checked those folders and I also did email Dr. Rice on July 15th and he said they’re reviewing my application, but idk what’s taking so long😅

any people who interviewed the week of 7/21 heard back yet?

I wonder how the first years are doing right now. Would love to hear about the experiences thus far
I briefly talked to a couple of them when I was there for my interview. Said they are loving it so far, though they are probably in the excitement stage right now, obviously things could change. But I would guess the brand new facilities/technology, support from an established undergrad university, and a pretty devoted/welcoming/experienced faculty are probably all huge advantages and should lead to people continuing to like it. I also asked a couple of my interviewers about what they've noticed the student perception is so far and they gave a similar answer.

What do you think my chances are of being yield protected at this school with a 511 and 3.83?
Submitted secondary July and am heavily interested in this school assumed I would have heard something by now?
Just curious since I have noticed last years II and A’s were hovering 505 mcats…

This is neurotic I know, especially bc it hasn't even been two weeks yet, but I can't help checking my portal all day lmao. Has anyone who interviewed last week (7/29 or 7/30) heard back?

Interviewed 7/23 and just heard back yesterday, give it time lol but they called with an A, but my portal hasn’t updated yet

I submitted my secondary on 7/2 and haven't heard anything about an interview yet? Anyone submitted at a similar time?

Accepted yesterday 8/9. Interviewed 7/30. Secondary submitted late June. Portal updated last night and got the call this morning.

My portal says there is a decision status update. But the button to the right doesn't open anything. Is anyone having the same issue?

On my phone, if I open my portal and scroll down I can see the decision. On my computer, I need to scroll down and there’s a PDF link that opens the decision.

Mine just says there's an update with no decision or link on my phone or computer. I'm not sure what's wrong with mine.

I interviewed 7/29, got the A on 8/9! (Which also happened to be my birthday lol, great timing). All the staff were super friendly and welcoming! If there are any current students on here, please DM me. This is gonna be a tough decision and I'd love to get more insight into the school's environment.

I don't think you're bring yield protected

Just got place on the further consideration list. Interviewed on 8/13. 🙁.

can anyone address the issue of whether one can get federal student loans for this school since it is not yet accredited?
I am concerned about whether or not going to an accredited school is risky--both on this loans issue and in general.
anything anyone knows would be very helpful. it looks like a great school, and I am in state with 510 MCAT and 3.76 total GPA. thank you!

I believe you can get federal student loans for this school. I went for my interview day back in June and in the information session they talked about federal loans and how to apply. After I was accepted, they told me that I could potentially get a spot in the matriculation class of 2024 to start a year earlier and to fill out the FAFSA just in case a spot opened up. They wouldn’t have me fill out the FAFSA if federal loans were not a possibility. I’m filling it out again in preparation for my matriculation in 2025.

thank you. does anyone else know about this, because I keep hearing a school has to be accredited before you can get federal loans? also, when would this school be accredited assuming it passes? if I got in, I would be in the graduating class of 2029. would they have been accredited by then, assuming all goes well?

This school is considered a non-profit which is why they are able to get federal loans. Schools have to get accreditation by the year their inaugural class graduates so that would be 2028
