The stories keep coming! I was waiting for my family tonight to open up match results, and it’s been a (surprisingly) busy and chill two weeks mentally prepping to bloom whenever I’m planted, then lo and behold at 3:00.
Got a phone call. Missed it. Saw it was a Tyler number. Chill gone. Lamented over missing it. Was it a sign? Is this how I would be told I got waitlisted (don’t ask; I lack much common sense)? Wandered around in my garden. Chilled. Got called again. And WHOOP WHOOP, WE MATCHED, bebé!!!!! WHOOT WHOOT!!!! MY IDENTITY IS NOW AN ORANGE NAVY LUMP.
*and to note, I actually ranked Tyler #2 and didn’t prematch, so very happily surprised.

Is the primary teaching hospital for UT Tyler going to be UT Health East Texas? I find it a little bit weird that the hospital is privately owned by a for profit company, Ardent Health. Or is the state going to take over control of the hospital?

I know of one person who got off the waitlist a few weeks ago, but as far as I know that is it. I could be wrong but I think the waitlist is three times the class size so (40 x 3 = 120). I dont think there will be much movement here maybe 1-3 considering the class size is so small and they are so mission based but idk
