Did they say when they’d send pre-match offers? Is it just anytime now? Thanks!
 
Does the school accept a letter of interest or update letters pre-II?
 
Was fortunate to receive a pre match back in October, but haven't heard from the school since. Was hoping to have received some news regarding tuition, scholarships, etc. by now. Any one have an idea on when UTRGV sends out this information?

It's essential to be pro-active with requests for information with UTRGV
I suggest you look up the email of the financial aid office and ask them, if there are more forms you need to complete or if there are extra scholarships you can apply for.
File your FAFSA if you haven't done so, as the financial aid office will need that.
 
Any other January pre-matches? Or do we think we are going to have to endure the wait until Match Day?
 
Hello Vaqueros. Does anyone have any information about the Welcome back class of 2029 event? Is it one day long or the entire weekend? Can we bring guests? Etc

Based off the invite, seems to be a one day event. Whether or not we can bring guests should be answered within the coming weeks as they'd mentioned they would send more details soon.

No email, at the in person interview Mayra told us we'd all be placed on the waitlist after Math Day. Honestly I remember that from previous years the waitlist can be anywhere from 5 to none getting off.

On MSAR it says 25 people are accepted from waitlist. But I don’t know if that is correct.

I don't think it is, MSAR says over 200 people are offered a wait-list but 25 of them end up accepting it. That makes no sense IMO. Maybe that's total prematches (that around 200 get a prematch) the school sends. You can look at last year's SDN to see how many said they got of the wait-list. I figure around 20-30 percent of people who did reported it to SDN.

maybe 200 were placed on the waitlist and 25 of the 200 were offered a seat? I dunno. Would they send a WL or R email eventually?
 
What apartments/areas do you think would be good to look at for next year? I'm looking for something quiet, safe and not too expensive (800/900 max a month). Any tips would be appreciated!
 
Hello, I have a quick question. UTRGV does not accept coursework online, but will they make an exception for classes taken during 2020-2021 during the pandemic?

Nevermind, just called and they accept it!
 
Did anyone who matched at UTRGV hear back from the school yet?
