For those who got holds, did you already have a clinical LOR on file? I realized I haven't added one, though the portal makes it seem like you can still receive an ii without one, but may have it rescinded if you interview before it is added.....if I am reading that right.

Hold means that your application is in re-review for consideration for an interview. Some schools it’s a soft-R, some it’s not.

It's not a soft R. They do revisit their hold list quite a bit, if you read through previous years threads

I’m in the same boat here interviewed in August and I thought they said they accept people regularly (either every 2 weeks or maybe even every week) but there doesn’t seem to be a lot of data this year or last one.

I am a reapplicant and got accepted here mid october after interviewing in August. I interviewed here last year as well in January. I was never put on a hold last year or this year and the people that I know who got interviews were never put on a hold either. Just wanting to spread this info to everyone! Good luck to you all!

I personally never got anything last year, complete radio silence after my interview and then ultimately got rejected middle of July after already submitting my primary for this application cycle. COMT doesn’t send any updates at all which is def a downside.
