I just checked my portal and see some financial aid (grants and loans), unsure if scholarships have been given already or not. Does anyone see a scholarship listed? Kinda hoping I receive one....
Ditto. Offered some fat loans but no financial aid. I think this means we didn't get anything for the first round of scholarships. I wasn't expecting anything but I'm still a lil sad

I saw scholarships are awarded through the admissions board or whatever, and from previous years it seems students are emailed when given. I ended up emailing the admissions people to see, so fingers crossed.

I emailed the admissions people, and they shared that they are still in the process of awarding the scholarships. If awarded one, then you'll get an email. So, unless someone has been offered one already, I believe they haven't awarded any yet.

FYI found this on the admissions website:

9. Alternate List: With authority from the Admission committee, the Dean of Admission manages the waitlist. Applicants who are placed on the alternate are notified via email on a rolling basis. Applicants are later notified of their place on the alternate list (upper, mid, low) prior to single hold day.

+1 OOS top third WL
anyone know the historic results of being in this category in terms of acceptance? does colorado have good waitlist movement?

Looking at previous SDN threads, it looks variable. One or two years ago there was only one person admitted off the top third, but most years there are several people posting on here that they got admitted from the top third.

+1 OOS top third earlier today; does anybody know how know how financial aid offers work with waitlists? I doubt I'd get anything in the scenario they do offer a spot, but is there a way to find out when they tell you that information?

I know of a current student who was on the WL and when she got taken off, she was offered a scholarship

So the admissions tracker on the CU admissions site says they're at 715 interviews and 322 acceptance offers as of March 4th. It doesn't seem like there have been tons if any interviews or acceptances sent out since that date. According to admit, last year they had 697 interviews and 416 acceptance offers sent out in total. As long as there haven't been a bunch of offers sent since March 4th and the yield of current accepted students who take their offers is relatively consistent with last year, it seems like there could be a good amount of acceptance offers to be sent out after April?

FWIW admissions tracker updated on 4/2, and it seems like it only rose from 322 to 325 acceptances, which seems very promising for top of waitlist (although -- now it says only 687 interviews, which seems odd).

I was going to say this - seems like good news. Would be interesting to know if the 400+ offers they made last year was standard.

Anyone admitted but have zero financial aid information on the portal? Is there a separate portal where I should see this?

Has anyone else gotten calls from a CU anschutz number over the last week? They called twice but I was busy both times.. no VM edit: didn't interview soo i suppose it could be my old ortho from a new office

Me checking this thread daily to see if there are any WL movement yet! About to put a large nonrefundable deposit to lease an apartment where I got in and move to the East Coast when I really just want to stay here! #Instate applicant dreading the Wait!

Literally in the exact same boat... someone did just report an A from 5/5 on admit soooo

+1 IS A off the waitlist!!! Call came from Denver area code but mine said "Spam Risk" so I let it go to voicemail. I called the number left on my voicemail and it might have been the best phone call I have ever had lol. So grateful and hope you all end up at your top choice! Let me know if you have any questions.

I am guessing that’s it for our chances of getting off the waitlist? (IS, top 1/3 of the waitlist) I guess now we have to sell our house and move across the country :/
I was top 1/3 of waitlist and I am also wondering if this is really it for our chances. Does anyone have any info on offers made off the alternate list from previous years? Colorado has no transparency.
