whats einsteins post - ii rate?
40% prior to the announcement of free tuition. No one knows what the rate is since after the announcement of free tuition. The announcement was made Feb. 2024, so the current M1’s at Einstein are the only class who applied with this factor in mind the entire cycle. They interview around 1000 students and there are 165 seats for MD students.

Has anyone who sent an post-II update letter through their updates portal received a confirmation email?

How long does it take from Interview to decision?

ik you may be looking for a second opinion but in case you missed my last reply lol, no--i think the only confirmation they give is on the webpage immediately after uploading

Has anyone sent a pre-II update letter to Einstein? Did they accept it?

This is from MSAR and I assume it's likely up-to-date because all the information was accurate: "Interviewed applicants, only, may submit their letters of intent, interest and notice of significant updates or achievements via a link to the Applicant Portal that will be sent to interviewed students on the Friday following their interview, and will be included in an email that invites the applicant to complete an Interview Day Survey."

Where is the update portal??

I got three emails:
1. Zoom link to Q+A with students (I think I had to express interest in this)
2. Zoom link to Interview
3. Zoom link to a virtual event the afternoon of my interview (optional)

As far as I can tell, the only part of the day that you must attend is the hour-long interview.
Isnt that Q and A with the students the activity in the afternoon?

what if i forgot to do this
I would send an email as soon as I forgot. Don't draw attention to it.

Or is this post-interview? If so, I wouldn't send anything. It probably doesn't look good but I also wouldn't draw attention to it.

For the future, when I have emails like this that I *need* to send, I schedule them in my email (most email providers allow you to do this). You can also set a calendar reminder to come back and make sure it sent.

TBD I think i skimmed the email bc I was excited for the interview...lesson learned. for anyone else reading this - i sent email around 730 PM and got a response in the morning around 730 AM. just confirmed my interview and in her response she didnt say anything about it being late so hopefully its okay

Didn't get any confirmation about the submission of my update letter. Anybody know if I should expect something?

They send an email with the link to a portal to submit post-II updates. The instructions say we would automatically get a confirmation that the update was received and that we should not email them to confirm. I never got the confirmation :/ but also don’t know if I should email since the instruction say to not :/

It didn't email me either. I think it is fine.
