With that said, based on what I can tell from previous trends you are more likely to be placed on WL (at least until a slot opens) if you interview later, but you're under consideration for an A wherever you interview. See this post from last year regarding alternate campus interview selection:

Does anybody know if you get an interview invite for the RPLP program but don’t get in (since there are only 12 spots), are you still considered for the Lexington campus automatically, or do you have to be invited back to redo the interview just for Lexington?

They have 2 individual interviews on the interview day, and the U Kentucky interview day is in person at their Lexington med school site. the site of your first-choice campus.

Completed application files will be reviewed for consideration of interviews. Invited applicants will be interviewed at the site of their first-choice campus. The earliest notifications regarding an interview invitation will be sent in August and continue on a rolling basis. UK College of Medicine Office of Admissions will inform each candidate whether or not an interview will be granted.

Invited applicants will receive detailed interview instruction from their respective first-choice campus via email and will use our online system to select a date. UK College of Medicine will conduct in-person interviews for the 2025 cycle. See Dates and Deadlines for interview dates at each campus.

From what I learned at my interview day is that you will be interviewed at your first choice campus. If you choose a second campus you are in consideration for that campus post-interview as well and depending on many factors (interview, fit, current amount of accepted applicants) you could be accepted into your second choice.

All of the campuses have the same interview format. It is fully open file but the nature of the interview is honestly going to be the choice of the interviewer. One of my interviews felt like a bunch of questions about my application while the other one was super conversational and chill. My best word of advice is just be yourself and stay relaxed as much as possible. Also give the corvette museum a visit while ur in BG!

Just got placed in alternate pool today IS 65 LM, does anyone know the likelihood of me getting an acceptance and when the earliest that could be I’m really confused as to how it works. Thanks!
