2025-2026 Meharry Secondary Essay Prompts: (no word limit given)
(1) Statement of Purpose: Why do you wish to attend Meharry Medical College, School of Medicine?

(2) Statement of Resilience: Please describe a personal situation of failure, significant challenge or a major obstacle that you have overcome. Include a description of your coping skills and lessons you learned about yourself from that situation.
People are having website issues when trying to submit their secondary app.
One of our awesome SDN members discovered how to get around it:
1. Log in to your Meharry Portal
2. Click on the Meharry Medical College LOGO in the upper left corner (and the page will then reload)
3. Choose EY 2026, submit your secondary

Emailed meharry, they said they are looking for applicants with a 505 mcat and above this cycle, and they do screen however they didn't tell me what they screen for.

Oof, this is disheartening to hear. My 502 would get screened out, but I already submitted my app 🤣

Did they send you the secondary to your email or did you access the secondary from the internet? Because someone on reddit accessed it early yesterday and posted the link and submitted their's. But then the replies said that leads to a rejection for doing that.

august 12th i added meharry, so it was submitted then, but my primary app was verified like a week before that

How strict is their prescreen? I read earlier they matriculate individuals above 505 MCAT. My old MCAT was a 506, but new one is a 504 and I got a secondary invitation. However, my GPA is a 3.96.
