A&M vs. SA?

I was matched at A&M and was put on the alternate list at San Antonio. I have a friend at UTHSCSA that knows people that got off the waitlist last year, so I'm doing exactly what her friends did to increase my chances.

I know I won't find out until May if I'm off the waitlist, and this is all just wishful thinking, but if I do get in, what would you guys recommend? Thanks!

If you get it, go to whichever one you think will make you happier.

A&M's great, but I would personally pick UTHSCSA for three reasons:

1. Reputation as the happiest/friendliest student body in Texas.

2. San Antonio is a much larger, more progressive city than College Station.

3. A&M splits up the class even in preclinicals, and there's no guarantee of years 3/4 in Austin or Dallas.
