Opening Post

It's the time you've all been waiting for. Back. To. School (SkeWWl?). Some of you have recently received your letter of acceptance and feel excited and eager to start.

Others may be emanating this a bit more.

But no matter! Another WW game is upon us. Like any good professional student, you will learn ALL THE THINGS.

While y'all are cramming your brains full of information each day, you will also be voting to remove a player that you find sinister. Or just, not quite right? Maybe they aren't who they seem? Or they're ruining your chance at getting a 5.0 GPA!!! Each night you will try to find time to catch some Z's while you aren't up to some form of mechanical shenanigans.

Please note that days will be 36 hours long. Nights will only be 12 hours long (maximally; shorter if actions arrive post-haste!).​

Policies, Rules, and Regulations for Appropriate Conduct - Please Read CAREFULLY

1. A reminder: Day vote and night action submission daily. Night actions are compulsory unless otherwise stated. Missing these will earn you a warning. Then a mod-kill.

2. No actions may be used on the same player consecutively.

3. Day closes sharply on deadline. This means that if your vote is SDN timestamped at deadline, it will not be counted, as I cannot distinguish between a vote that happened at 10:00:00 and 10:00:59. This does not change unless the mods announce an official deadline change.

4. You may each open a PM with anyone in your designated PM group. See roster. Please kindly include your mods in such PMs. If you don't include us, we'll never know. (Or will we?)

5. Please do not direct quote or copy/paste anything from mod PMs. Player PMs are fair game.

6. You may edit posts but please do not edit votes. Remember to unvote. Remember to format your votes correctly, either bolded or #########surrounded by numerous octothorpes#########. Please use the terms "vote" or "yeet".

7. If you have questions please direct them to the mods in your role PM. Questions will likely not be answered on thread.

8. If you require a sub, please contact the mods directly, and do not discuss it on the thread.

9. I reserve the right to add rules here whenever I feel like it. I will direct you to any new additions.​

Ice Breaker + Roster

Now, an ice-breaker, an activity we all adore while we wait for day 1. WHAT!?

We all know how much I adore a good mayor vote. But, on account of the 36 hour day cycle, I didn't know if I could survive that long of an election. While we wait, please cast your vote for mayor VIA PM. You may campaign on thread freely but do NOT place your votes here. They will not count unless placed in your PM.

Election will close promptly at start of day 1 at 10am, Wednesday, 9/23/2020. Yeet/vote will close at 10pm EDT (9pm central/8pm mountain/7pm fantasy land) on Thursday, 9/24/20.

20% is also the minimum ratio for wolves. Careful now.

A mayor is where you elect to give someone power that normally wouldn't be accessible regardless of their current role. It can be temporary (e.g. 1x night kill avoidance) or permanent (item maker). People typically don't yeet out the mayor for a while due to not wanting to waste the gains, so choose someone you can read well.

Day 1 Interlude

In typical WW fashion, expect the unexpected. Or, expect that over half of the roster won't check in cause they forgot that they're playing. Doggo and I (mainly I lol) still cannot survive a 48 hour or however long mayor vote but we will allow the stragglers to participate in the mayoral election. Results will be announced.....during this next day cycle. (If you haven't voted via PM: VOTE!!!)

I treat ww games like irrelevant exams - cram info for a few days, then immediately purge it all.

I thought about it, but figured there was no point because I was checking in right before mayor vote was supposed to close/and no one ever wants to trust me lol. So I'd rather vote for someone I know will be chatty enough to get reads off later.
