Sheriff Jody Mills walked along the highway, frustrated with life. Her car broken down, her phone missing. She wasn't one to be too superstitious, but something just wasn't sitting well with her about this...and she knew weird when she felt it. It was a 3 mile walk back to the center of the town she had just passed. The night had started out just fine - she had locked up a woman who she was fairly certain was either on drugs or far too drunk. The lady had run through town accosting people, asking where she was, how she had gotten there, and who had taken her daughter. Jody had figured it would be safest to let her sit in a cell until she was more coherent. She’d left the deputy to handle the problem, and had been on her way to track down Sam and Dean. She’d called Claire on the way and was just an hour outside of where she was supposed to pick her up when her car broke down. Now she was stuck in buttsville, and none too pleased.

Suddenly, Jody heard a strange sound, and went to investigate, and unfortunately she would never be able to forget the sight that she saw. There were 3 .... well, it is hard to describe exactly what they were, but "creatures" will have to suffice, engaged in hand to hand to tentacle to supernatural appendage combat. Surrounding them was a ragtag group of people wearing a bunch of sweatshirts with sayings like "real docs treat more than one species", and "TUFTS SCHOOL OF VETERINARY MEDICINE" and the like. Jody walked up to one of the less bizarre looking 'people' and casually asked, "what's going on?" The 'man' turned to her and said, "oh just the usual fight between good and evil". "oh" the Marshall replied, and then asked "who's winning?" "Good question, hard to say right now, that guy over there, DocE, he seems to have something up his sleeve, I would be careful around him, but that fine lady over there, PrincessButterCup, she is one powerful creature, I wouldn't bet against her!". "what about him?" Jody asked, pointing at the most grotesque creature she had ever seen. "Ah, he wants to kill both sides. Don't trust that STL character at all!".

Jody thought for a second, and then timidly asked, "Can I trust you? Do you speak the truth? What is your side?" .

The man looked at Jody and after a very thoughtful silence replied, "I see you don't really belong here, so I am willing to help you. I am Gabriel. I am on no one's side, I am here for my own entertainment, but I will help those who ask for it. ".

Suddenly there was a deathly scream, and Jody shuddered as ice crept into her heart. The voice was familiar to her, though she had never heard it sound so tortured. It came from far away, yet it sounded like it was inside her head.

"Hmm,” Gabriel said. Sounds like Death has claimed another soul. Interesting. Well, I have to be off. I will gladly be your guide and pass on some tidbits as I may", and in a flash of light Gabriel unfurled his wings and rose away..

Crowley had finally shown up not long after the mental hospital stopped trying to collapse around their ears. Dean immediately rushed him, but Crowley stopped him in his tracks with a simple hand gesture. He looked to Sam,
“Moose, get control of your Squirrel there. I know he’s upset but come now, give me a moment to explain,” he chuckled to himself, then noticed Benny staring at him. “Oh who is this? A new pet?” Benny showed his fangs and Crowley shrugged.

“Look boys, I don’t really know what to tell you. He was supposed to be here. My lovely mother was supposed to be here by now as well. I wouldn’t be surprised if she double crossed us. Again. I keep telling you we can’t trust that...witch.”
“You know Rowena is the only chance we have to put Lucifer back in the cage. You were supposed to be keeping an eye on her,” Sam said through gritted teeth, but did not take a step towards the self-proclaimed King of Hell.
“Watch your tone, Moose. Don’t forget who I am.”
“I know exactly who you are,” Dean growled at him. He struggled but could not move from where he was.

Just as Crowley was about to respond, a figure walked into the room. He wore a neat suit, could have been a wealthy businessman, but there was a dark, hungry air about him. Crowley’s concentration broke and Dean collapsed to the ground. He raised the Colt to point it at the figure.
“No need for that Dean. Yes, I know who you are. I am sure we will cross paths again. But I’m not here for you tonight.”
“Yeah well unless you’re here for short, dark, and annoying over there, you’re going to have to go through me.”
“As you wish,” the figure said, leaping toward Dean. But Benny got between them, blocking Dean’s shot.
“Get out of here,” he shouted, “He’s here for me!” Benny stood before his creator, the Alpha Vampire, and bared his teeth.
“You are not worthy of the gift you possess, traitor,” the Alpha hissed. He flung Benny against a wall easily. Dean took aim with the Colt again. Annoyed, the Alpha Vampire rushed him, grabbed the Colt from his hand, and flung it across the room. It landed at Crowley’s feet. Barely a moment passed before it was in his hands and he had vanished.

Meanwhile, the Alpha was moving back towards Benny. He had plans for him. He would be a powerful asset after a bit of an attitude adjustment.
“No!” Dean shouted and rushed the Alpha again, and at the same time Sam shouted Dean’s name and ran after him. The Alpha grew tired of their interfering in his business. He knew enough to know one thing that would keep them occupied long enough for him to take his traitorous child away. He shoved Dean aside and lunged at Sam, clawing straight through his chest and grasping his heart in his powerful grip. He shredded it with his claws, then ripped it out for good measure. Sam crumpled to the ground. In a moment, the Alpha had grabbed Benny’s unconscious form and left Dean alone with his brother’s body. The sounds of Dean’s grief reverberated throughout the crumbling building and into the night beyond.

they're like the one who got away. Both of the vote leaders were stupid yesterday and multiple concerns raised about vmh (though not everyone shared them, I know at least two of you are *incorrectly* feeling super cozy with them) were just ignored by everyone who wanted to see a coop v pippy thing happen. Sure VMH had their 4 votes, but literally no one else was willing to even entertain the idea as they slowly slipped from about to die to "oh hey look over there at this fun little bandwagon of people DocE told you werent wolves."

Also... pippy aint a wolf. just IMHO.

I wanted to mention this though because it kinda bothered me. Is it weird to anyone else that hyge is getting... overly emotional about people dying? I know she's an actual SPN fan but idk... it's weird. It seems a little "us villager-y"

But instead I was doing CPR all day and suturing wounds and then had to write up a bunch of cases for a lecture series.

Someone want to explain the ski lynch votes to me? This is not even really a comment on ski, but those votes look kinda random to me. Almost like wolves trying to stay the hell away from villager lynches. Although I'm getting a mixed bag from both Filly & BBC right now (or maybe slight village lean), so could be nothing.

But, a vmh lynch might not be a bad idea in terms of info gathering on that front. I think both filly & BBC had said something about me and coop looking village, so if vmh was a wolf, they'd probably be a little stuck because they couldn't reverse position, but also wouldn't be jumping on the vmh vote and would need to look elsewhere.

Also find it interesting that SOV has been all by his lonesome on a vote both days. (Disclaimer: I may be remembering D1 incorrectly; I'm on my phone).

I explained it in my post. Ski has contributed next to nothing to the discussion both days and each time I do see a post from her it pings my feels as sometime trying to see present without offending anyone. On my reread before lynch I couldn't shake that feeling and voted where my feels were. I did feel you and coop were more village looking back and I don't know why you're so freaking bothered by me not lynching you. I'm indifferent about VMH. I didn't get to spend a ton of time analyzing before lynch and didn't feel confident enough on VMH to swing lynch her way with my vote. But I have no problem looking further into her.
 
we still have the ability to discuss things. It's not like this info is preventing us from talking. Like DocE is really adamant about VMH. Is DocE flipping wolf going to make anyone feel better about VMH? I personally still haven't seen any wolfy things from VMH, so I didn't feel great about that lynch to begin with. However, based on what everyone is saying about DocE, wouldn't be unlike them (him? her?) to throw a fellow wolf, especially a "less" important wolf, under the bus for village cred.

Sheriff Jody Mills (goodie): A Winchester ally.

Claire (probably goodie but could be baddie depending on the season): a former werewolf who also is the daughter of Castiel's human vessel, now adopted daughter of Jody Mills

A woman who she was fairly certain was either on drugs or far too drunk, looking for her daughter (both goodies): I'm betting this refers to Ellen Harvelle, who ran a roadhouse for hunters along with her daughter Jo.

(Surrounding them was a ragtag group of people wearing a bunch of sweatshirts with sayings like "real docs treat more than one species", and "TUFTS SCHOOL OF VETERINARY MEDICINE" and the like.) LOL

Crowley (affiliation-flexible): a demon who enjoys the finer things. He has spent time variously helping and hindering Team Free Will.

Rowena (baddie): v. powerful witch, mother of Crowley.

Alpha Vampire (baddie): remember kids, the Alphas are the first and oldest of each monster type.

Now I need to do some re-reading and thinking. I am wondering if Ellen/Jo and Jody/Claire character pairings can also PM as Sam and Dean apparently did.

That's very possible. But he could also be one of those players who gets looked into early every game and could have been trying to buy himself another day by pushing a villager. So now we spend a lot of time today trying to figure out whether he was bussing VMH to try and get some village cred or if he usually gets looked into early and was just trying to buy himself more time. And same with the other people he's vouched for. Were they DocE trying to get village cred or him trying to buy other wolves more time (I doubt they would all be wolves because that'd be dumb IMO)
 
Well since we can't discuss roles, only powers... no one is going to believe me when i tell you that mad jack is setting yoi all up (he is). Ill say that i have the most DocE power of all time. Truly my favorite in fact. And its still relevant. So this lynch isnt going to go like you want and maybe if you're smart youll reconsider.

And youre all in for a really really disappointing surprise. And then maybe youll lynch MJ or his birdie next time.
