Finn loves me best. We already have plans to live together and have many dog and horse and have a clinic down the street that we can walk to

WHERES YOUR LIFE PLAN WITH FINNY, PEEBS?!:rage:
I'm the mistress who breaks apart your marriage and gets half your assets and Finn through the divorce.

I, too, open 50 tabs but when I’m done with the laptop I just simultaneoulsy close them all out without checking if I needed any of them. Who has time for that nonsense?

But what if you close a tab on something you actually need? That gives me even more anxiety!!!
You just go to your recently closed tabs in your history...

I have a habit of leaving tons of Word documents open, but I typically close all my internet tabs at least once a day.

Exams are coming.

Exam on Friday, one next Thursday, 2 the next week, 2 the week after, a week off and then 2 more the week before spring break.

And then after spring break there’s 8 exams in 5 weeks, 2 finals on dead week and then 5 finals. And then there’s quizzes and whatnot. 😱😱😢😢

Aka there’s only one week of class for the rest of the semester where we don’t have an exam.

Midterm on Friday. I am oddly, almost scarily cal on the inside. Like, I don't do any studying for hours at a time and haven't even looked at anatomy hard core. Most of my anatomy studying will be today and tomorrow until they close the lab to prep.

On the one hand, I think it's partly because this was my best quarter last year. But then on the other hand, I'm internally paranoid that I'm going bomb this midterm (worth 24% of our total grade). I don't know whether I should be more paranoid or if this calm is based out of confidence (rather than no more f***s to give).

Currently calling next week H*** week... an immuno, histo, and anatomy exam back to back to back.... we can do this guys!

We almost had this for Phys 2 followed by Neuro and large animal anatomy in the same day. Our anatomy professor was awesome and moved his exam to Monday.

I didn’t hear that....

Somebody behind me was coughing so hard she had to leave a few times...I was having an internal struggle about whether to feel bad for her or zip my jacket up over my face. I’m a terrible person.

CTRL + SHIFT + T reopens the accidentally closed tab. 😉
I've done this and others for so long that I actually don't even remember the keys anymore, so when I tried to explain it to people I just had to show them keyboard magic very very slowly instead.

Looking at it now, CTRL + W closes tabs, CTRL + tab switches you to the next tab over, CTRL + shift + tab shifts you a tab back, CTRL + T opens a new tab, CTRL + N opens a new window (and CTRL + shift + N opens an incognito window), CTRL + F obviously searches, there's the obvious CTRL+C/+X/+V for copy/cut/paste, Alt + tab to switch between programs, CTRL + L to highlight the address bar (so you can type a new website in or whatever), Shift + click & CTRL + click for selecting files from lists on your computer, CTRL + A to select all the text on a page, Windows Key + right/left arrow to snap the current window to half the screen size on whichever side of the screen, and of course F5 or CTRL + R to refresh the page.

There are almost definitely more, but I think those are the ones I use the most often.

Don't tell 2021, but they've done it. I blame myself.
And it was pushed over the edge by @PrincessButterCup and I, which we celebrated.
EVERYONE HERE IS WELCOME.

@finnickthedog @PrincessButterCup Gigs up, we’ve been spotted!

Fun fact: a couple days ago PBC posted a “Don't tell 2020 but y’all are 13 posts away from passing them”, which we made her change out of sneakiness.

Can we just all admit that at least a third of the posts in y'alls thread are from 2020

Can we all just admit that y’all contributing to our anatomy discussion pushed us over the edge? 😍

Can we all just admit it's because we're great and you love us?
Guys they’re just using you to up their threads post count

I'm so glad we have these random days off. I use them so well. I've basically had zero mental clarity for two days now due to a cold so I'm hoping this will be enough to get better. I've also been told "what's a nice way to say you look like absolute ****?" by at least two people. Yay

What's this "day off" you speak of?

1's have mini rotations today. Since I'm a two I have the day off. See our class is split in half for everything except lectures. Basically I'll never meet or get to know half the class 🙁
Ours is too but we spend so much time in lectures it doesn't matter

Ewwww. We've gotten two emails basically saying politely "if you have flu symptoms, don't ****ing come to class!" I don't know of anyone within the vet school that's got the flu, but it's really bad in Kansas right now.

We might need that kind of email over here! We did get one, but it seemed to be directed more toward faculty. I haven’t had the flu since I was a kid but sitting in a closed room for 4+ hours with the flu is pushing your luck. Apparently this is one of the worst flu seasons we have had in a while. Yuck.
