Class of 2022...how you doin'?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
My laundry buzzer keeps going off and I can hear my poor, exhausted roommate walking around upstairs, probably wondering why neither me nor my bf are getting out of bed to turn it off. I'm just going to keep on keeping on reading this forum lmao

Preeeeeeetty sure not everyone put where they’re going on here.....
How am I supposed to creep if not everyone posts:yeahright:
Official Attendance Decisions c/o 2022!

But can I get IS tuition

Soo Soo tired. On to D3. Already behind on readings but still trying to stay positive. Shout out to @Miranda Senft for blazing the trail and saying by Friday I will feel better! I just keep telling myself that lol.

Also if Pawski Jr could sleep for longer than 2 hrs at a time again that would be great. Pretty please? K thanks.

I prefer kittens.

(I might be able to be persuaded to allow others if the price is right)....
I’ll let you snuggle Finn. Do I get to visit now?

One of our tablemates came up with a story for the bottom parts of the humerus. It was about getting to king condyle and the olecranon process to get to the opposite side of the kingdom. It was fantastic!

I was shocked when I found out it was just a Midwest thing

Like what do you mean you don’t just say hi to strangers you pass in public??????
It's hard to explain. Like... people actively seek out conversation here. As a new person to the area, it's very endearing. But also as an introvert and a NYer, it's very bizarre.

Midwestern niceness is a real thing. It's kinda shocking after going to undergrad with people from the NYC area...

Apparrently it's a thing here in WA at least on the Palouse. Everyone is SUPER nice here. It's wierd. Like nice, but wierd.
Also I'm on D2 of orientation and I'm exhausted. I walked 8 miles yesterday. 😴
Be prepared. It's just the beginning 😉 BTW ya'll tomorrow is Friday and I am so stoked to be done with the first week of vet school. Slightly terrified but mostly relieved and tired.

@Miranda Senft or any other years... maybe @Caiter92? suggestions on studying the muscles for when you're at home and not with the cadaver?
It doesn't look like it's free anymore, but I used CSU's Virtual Canine Anatomy at home for muscles and bones at home. I found it super useful!

Veterinary Educational Tools

It's $30 now, but I think it would be worth it. You guys might have it available to you for free though? I remember we had access to some LA program through school that normally you have to pay for, so maybe they have some sort of access for this now.

ETA: it does use the Latin names though, so don’t accidentally start calling structures by those because you’ll get them marked wrong

VCA is a great study tool. They also have the cat, cow, and horse but they’re not totally complete yet like the dog. I actually met my professor who invented it today, it was very cool.
