Well here’s to hoping that either there will be a few more calls tomorrow or that l’ll be waitlisted!

Does anyone know if they’re still going to call people tomorrow?

I'm hoping.. I haven't seen anyone mention that they've been waitlisted yet so fingers crossed there are more calls to be made still!

My stomach has been turning since yesterday. This wait has been killing me!

Accepted! Got a call from Karyn Bischoff yesterday. Have an interview with UPenn in two weeks.....if I'm accepted there then I'm going to have a hard time with deciding.....but either way - for those that haven't heard yet stay hopeful! Also my GRE scores were mediocre, but I excelled in other departments (mainly research).

Did you get into the duel DVM/PhD program or just the DVM?

Is Penn your in state? Otherwise, I feel like it's a no brainer, because isn't Cornell cheaper and more prestigious?Although I'm obviously biased lol

I assume they’re done calling? Mmm

Just got the portal update 😀 Congratulations to everyone who got in! And to those who didn't, I'm really sorry and I understand how you must feel right now. But there's so many other schools out there and there's always next cycle because I have no doubt in my mind that you were all amazing candidates!!! And who knows? You may be on the waitlist and I've known people who were taken off of it in March!! Good luck to everyone!! <3

Well I got what I asked for yesterday--waitlisted IS. Not sure how many IS people they offer this to, so if anyone has info, I'd greatly appreciate it!
Did you find out through the portal or email?

Same! I had accepted rejection but this gives me at least a glimmer of hope. It'd be really nice to stay here bc my BF is here as well working on his PhD.

Should I be concerned if I didn't get any portal update or email?

Waitlisted OOS! I guess all hope is not lost...

(The email popped up shortly after I posted my last message after refreshing a million times LOL)

Hey fellow Cornell cuties,

I'm probably going to go with the February 2nd weekend, with the intent of driving up Thursday night and back Saturday morning (it's like a 2 hour drive). I live in Rochester, so if any of you are flying in to ROC airport for that weekend and that timeframe works for you, HMU and I'll give you a ride. Not to brag or anything, but I have a pretty sweet 2008 Honda Accord with a ton of dog fur on the seats, so yeah, it's a pretty classy transport.

Also, I have snow tires.

Waitlisted OOS. They said that they strongly encourage us to go to the information session. If we don't attend it, does it reduce our chances?

Congrats to everyone who was accepted 🙂

I’m also wondering if not attending would be bad! Waitlisted OOS. I have other interviews I’ll need to miss classes for and getting to Cornell (4.5 hr drive) on a Friday morning could be difficult! Possibly though!

Waitlisted oos. Anyone have any idea how many people get waitlisted, how many people generally get pulled off, or if there's a way to find out your rank on the list?

Looking at last year's posts, someone asked and they were not giving an answer.

Rejected, figured it was a reach to apply 😎

I still haven't heard anything. No emails and nothing on tracking page. I'm assuming a rejection :/

If anyone is driving from the east (I'm in western Mass) and has any room in their ride, please please let me know. I'm at school without a car and no buses or trains really go from where I am.

Hi! I'd be driving to an info session from Boston. When are you planning on going?

Quick question fellas by “portal” y’all mean the document tracking thing right

Yes - they send you an email with a unique code to enter on the document tracking page to view your decision letter. So need the email to view the decision on the portal.

just looked at my rejection-- thanks for all the support guys. good luck to all of you. I know you guys will be the most kick a**est vets ever

I can honestly go any time. I think the January date would be best for me, but I can be flexible.
