His other posts all felt normal Bob to me, I just didn't get that one. I still don't. I wouldn't even call it a ping, but it made me scratch my head.
 
It is hard to say with ppl that appear borderline sus even when they are village. This would apply to certain ppl so far. They remind me of coyotes- look kinda like a wolf but not really dangerous (most of the time) and should take it as natural behavior (genny, etc). Then there are ones who remind me of foxes- look kinda like a wolf. My paranoia kicks in and makes me wonder if they are wolf being TWTBW. So, crazy like a fox.

It's more helpful for forming a village bloc if you're more specific so other people can look at the posts and interactions that you're talking about. Who are you talking about here?

Genny. Fairly standard comments that instigate and induce paranoia. I don't feel like defending directly as there will be some point that she is legit wolf and I will look like packmate. AM can fall into this category as well.

Pippy is the one that strikes me more like a fox. :naughty: (oh wait, not that kinda fox)

Well I don’t like it. Not one bit. There are no jokes in a serious WW game. Plus, I can’t say, “look at me, I’m a wolf,” and not get tied to a tree.

I feel less worried about sunny’s response than shorty’s, since sunny seemed to be acknowledging it was a joke but just saying she found it weird and confusing, vs shorty apparently missing the joke entirely, which feels more like possible wolfy humorlessness

IIRC, April gets a lot of sus for her posts on D1. Her, Vis, and sometimes myself all get called out for sketchy entrances to thread. I understand the statistics, but it would be crazy to my brain if she randed wolf 3 games in a row. I know it’s possible but ugh my brain doesn’t like that.

This kind of “choosing reads based on how it makes you look” makes me very uneasy, but to the point that I think it may be TWTBAW to admit it, especially considering village bob has said similar things before. My paranoia says that that was mostly his first game and village Bob has probably learned from his misyeet then not to think this way (or at least not to admit it). I could see wolf Bob knowing it could be seen as TWTBAW in light of his previous games and deliberately exploiting that perception.

No that’s his 5th post and he’s responding to April. I thought it was a sarcastic response to her legit question. Something along the lines of this, but phrased differently and it came off as sarcastic to me:

“Why do you think Genny’s village”
“Because of the previous 2 pages”

But what do you mean by getting pings and feeling they’re more likely to be coming from town? Have they said things that ping you as sus and you think that kind of sketchiness is more likely to be coming from a villagey “not caring/thinking about how it makes you look” place?

Nothing in particular. I had similar thoughts but didn't voice them since I haven't arrived at a solid April read yet myself. But the things she said were valid.

look, I’m pretty bad at picking up on sarcasm in real life so the fact that I picked up on it on thread while others didn’t is surprising to me.

Idk what else you want other than I thought Chaos was not joking when he made that comment as a response to April. He was being sarcastic with that post, or at least that’s how it appeared to me.

I have learned not to defend ppl, even if you are village. Last game I thought you and Genny were def village and April (and Zenge) was wolf. I stated it b/c I think transparency is good approach. But was near misyeeted despite being right on 3/4 (I do believe I may have also said funny things albeit stupid to others). Wolves ended up dragging me down.

There is a couple of other things I have learned, but best to keep some things to myself 🙂

Good point on exploiting this perception, but you can't know how I wolf until you see how I wolf. And tbh, I don't know how I will wolf just yet either.

You didn't end up get misyeeted is the key thing here though. Hiding your true thoughts greatly increases chances of people wanting to yeet you.

I thought he was joking about not realizing the previous two pages were related to the thread. Because obviously the previous two pages did relate to the thread, but he said it in a way that made you question it for a second, until you pick up that he’s not being serious.

You're not wrong, but do you see what I'm saying about how it's similar to when she was wolfing and tried to casually throw some shade at genny and then laugh it off like "oh haha it was a joke"? There's a lot of day left still, maybe she'll seem more villagey with some later posts, I'm just not feeling it right now.
