Einstein vs. Downstate

hmm.. i would go with downstate over einstein. youre closer to the city, cheaper school, closer to the train (instead of a $5 express bus), and i think the clinical exposure may be better at downstate with kings county
 
In a nutshell,

reputation: albert einstein
cheaper costs: SUNY downstate
preclinical years grading system: albert einstein's P/F versus downstate's H/HP/P/F
easier accessibility to Manhattan: downstate
match list: both impressive, but albert einstein's list grabs more seats in nyc hospitals.
clinical experience: SUNY downstate (kings county hospital)
housing and costs: albert einstein's avg $420/month (AC included) versus SUNY downstate's $720/month (no AC)
research: both have good research opportunities, but albert einstein has more funding.
