Ya there will be I calledDoes anyone know if there will be any more movement with the alternate list?
Can’t help with all of this but I found a free link to the pdf AHA manual on Reddit. Just search it on google and put ‘Reddit’ in the search and it will come up from some nursing subredditDid anyone sign up for BLS certification course from one of the links they suggested in the pre-matriculation checklist? I think the correct one is "Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers CPR|AED - EXAM AND SKILLS" in the "gearupwithcpr" suggested source, but wanted to see if anyone else did this and got cleared by admissions? Base price is $90 but after adding on Adult First Aid Training, AHA Manual, Pocket Mask, no show fee it seems to total around $200? Does this sound right lol (RIP the wallet)
thanks haha I think I figured out a cheaper way to do it tooCan’t help with all of this but I found a free link to the pdf AHA manual on Reddit. Just search it on google and put ‘Reddit’ in the search and it will come up from some nursing subreddit
does anyone know how long it takes for the health clearance to be processed and checked off the pre-matriculation check list?
Do you have a net ID? Are you accepted or waitlisted? It seems to be faster if you email it to them. Mine only took a few hours to be processed and checked off

Nope I didn't get an email like that.Did anyone else on the AL get an email remainder about submitting all pre-matric items or acceptance can be rescinded?
Did you end up calling?I could use some advice. I interviewed back in October and was waitlisted around the same time most people were. Prior to being waitlisted, I submitted a letter of intent saying that downstate was my top choice and I would go if admitted. I also went on a tour and reaffirmed my interest via email after the tour. However, I haven’t really been in communication with the school since that tour back in April. Is it worth following up now? Is calling the school advised or is that a bit pushy? I have a DO acceptance, and I need to start thinking about moving to that area in the next week or so. Can anyone give any advice?
I should add I never received any info about Net ID or whatever it’s called (it’s so weird how some people did and others didn’t, makes no sense)
No, from what I was told by someone else, the waitlist ranks have been made and the committee isn’t meeting again. At this point they’re just pulling people in order as spots become available.Did you end up
Hey, if you don't mind me asking, did you end up getting accepted here? I have a 511 MCAT with very low CARS, but I got an interview from DS last week. DS is my top choice, and I am looking for some insight on this school.hey!! congrats on the interview! I have a below average MCAT (below a 510) and got an interview here and i think the most important thing is being able to discuss how you learned from a "setback" or what you're going to do to improve if one aspect of your app is not as strong. at least that's how I took it, but feel free to DM me if you have any more questions and good luck!
