I'm concerned with how much I like your Wolf reads.


Why BC though. Seems premature for a replacement who hasn't posted much.

I don't like the vibes of what she posted. Sometimes it only takes a couple posts for me to get a feel. I'd expect more reads from where she was at in her catchup and the reasoning for her Vis vote was kind of terrible.

Oh I didn’t vote for him, and I don’t have a read on him.... but we probably never will. Which makes him dangerous. Just something to note. You don’t want to kill a villager for being unreadable.

I actually love killing villagers for being unreadable.

Ok that's phrased poorly but if I'm down to someone who I think is a little sketchy but they're also contributing and I feel like I could get a read on them later, and someone who I think is a little sketchy and I know I'm never gonna be able to get a read on them...well, the latter is gonna get the vote. Them's the breaks when you craft your play in a way that you deprive yourself of village points.

@BigCats tell me more about this Vis PM that has you super concerned. If you're voting a PM partner on thread off of one interaction, it better be damning. Has there been PM discussion since then? How do you feel about them now after some reads?

Player with like 4 posts on thread (and mostly fluff) asks you in their first PM message if you have anything to share you don't want to share on thread... sorry, but that's opportunistic noob wolf sniffing for PRs to me. After I shut it down, we talked a bit more about PMing in general and also mutually griped about the thread length. I like the effort behind their prior post. Don't think it quite outweighs how I feel about the PM but it could with time and future posts.

I'm skipping around because I saw she was crossed out on the last tally so my responses are gonna be a little out of order - I didn't like how flippant kraska was sounding yesterday when I skimmed a little before sleeping, so I had her on my wolf leans. I see some discussion about how vig should be used - I'm in the camp that thinks it's absolutely stupid to use it this early in a game of this size if you're a villager. Statistically you're far more likely to hit another villager unless there is super compelling evidence on thread, which for being halfway through D1, I wouldn't say kraskas posts were compelling enough. So be better in the future, because if this isn't a 3p vig, you're only actively harming the village when you make impulsive choices.

While I agree with coffee on their stance on vig kills - I think this post is a little over the top. It's potentially a useful role if mechanics actually work but I wouldn't necessarily call it one of the greatest roles.


Okay, I started skimming quick and not highlighting/responding to things because dinner took a while and I'm only up to p15. I'm not really getting a lot out of this quick read, so giving up and going to just slowly continue reading and commenting. Probs won't finish by close, but as right now I'm happy enough with staying put on cray after their play yesterday and the comments I've seen so far today.
