I did some deep dive thread reading this morning, and I'm actually feeling ok about zenge/greedy/dubz for the moment. Nothing they've done up to this point has been blatantly wolfy in my eyes (maybe with the exception of last night's EOD voting). I maintain that AM and Lissa seem good too.
Zenge, I want to hear more about mkg. Now that you have more than 15 minutes haha, why are you reading her as wolf?

Are you familiar with the ISO? It stands for "In search of" or alternatively "Isolate". Meaning to Isolate someone's posts.

In the upper right you should see a magnifying glass next to "Search".

If you click it, you can change "Everywhere" to "This Thread", and then "By Member" you can put in an individual's name. Making it a lot easier to look through one individual's posts.

In this case, I'd encourage you to look at MKG's posts this game. I don't have a general impression that she's game solving. More that she's posting things to look active and engaged, but largely are of little consequence. She's just kind of floating through the thread.

Furthermore I felt the outrage she had against Fruitsalad D1, in retrospect felt a bit manufactured. It was the one real push she made and it just sort of feels off. The unwillingness to say Fruit may have been village. The inability or lack of desire to consider other options during the cycle. She picked Fruit for explainable but lackluster reasons and parked there. Since then we really haven's seen her contribute very much of substance to the thread.

In fairness to MKG, the volume of posts is never affiliation indicative. She’s rarely a high poster.

But I take issue with the content:fluff ratio, and that the specific content that she is posting feels like she’s mostly just floating by and posting just to post.

i think this is a fair point, but to play devils advocate, she IS in the middle of moving. if we’re going to give lax to players for their inactivity but still giving effort then she deserves a little grace too.

i honestly probably would have done the same thing if i came into the thread after being busy all day to find out that i was being upped in big bold letters without giving me ample time to explain. you gave her 20 minutes before close. i would have scrambled too in complete honesty, and i’d like to think other people would too?

inactivity does kinda go hand in hand with content. if you’re not fully caught up, you dont have time to solve. now she could be more diligent and say “i will do abc at xyz time” to let us know she’s thinking. (but thats also personally something i just do and its more a courtesy thing on my part to let y’all know i’m working on it)

It doesn't. I've seen MKG low post in a lot of games. She does it as a villager and a wolf. The specific effort to solve in the posts is what
is different between when she's village and when shes wolfing. She's in her wolf meta here.

Even the Fruit push was pretty lackluster. It just felt like an easy excuse to vote a villager and park her vote without re-evaluating or having to engage with the thread. Since then there's been even less actual content of genuine substance. She's posted an amount that I would say is average. She's here, she's posting. But what she's posting doesn't strike me as a villager trying to solve the game.

-Lissa (her story about the AirTag made sense and was backed up when dubz and greedy both mentioned being offered an AirTag/the description matching Lissa's claim)
-Sakuraaa/AM (Sakuraaa's early claim of being unconvertable doesn't seem like something a wolf would say. The MP3 claim was backed up by Lissa. I have also been offered an MP3 and can confirm the description matches AM's claim. Wish I had taken it.)
-Zenge (clearly I had my doubts for a while. Upon reading the thread/zenge's posts specifically, nothing jumps out as being suspicious. Really just looks like investigative villager. Still unsure why the mkg accusation dropped in such an odd way though at EOD)
-Greedy (same reasoning as zenge. Has been sharing good information. Still waiting for an answer on the postcard question though)
-dubz (same as greedy and zenge. Giving the drinks tickets to samac and zenge was very towny. I do believe that zenge and dubz are the same alignment as was previously claimed).

The problem is that we have opposite reads. So I can't miraculously change mine if I've already looked at all the posts. I can see if I subbed in and read nothing but that's not the case. So he needs to show me his perspective since he clearly doesn't agree with my own.

Genuine question, what kinds of things do you look for in the threadposts to determine if someone is wolfy/town? I'm still trying to figure out what matters and what doesn't.

I'm not sure about the second question. Earlier in the threads either zenge or dubz (I don't remember which it was off the top of my head) claimed that they were the same affiliation. I don't know where that initially came from but when I read back over their interactions it seemed to stand.

I've been mulling over the thing with genny. And it absolutely sounds ludicrous but if genny really is a wolf, then they would have had to intentionally use the opera glasses to watch KJQ, knowing that PSV would show up. They could then claim that on thread and appear towny. It's an insane theory that I initially didn't give any stock to, but given that we are starting to run out of people, it seemed worth considering again.

ok so they both played in the last game, Cubs subbed into a wolf role and was good at that, Diff was village and played really well before getting killed. I think everyone had Diff in their village lean piles early on, and I think that she could be relatively straightforward to read this game based on that, so I'd be more comfortable voting for her over Cubs.
