I just woke up and my brain is too foggy to make sense of the writeup and everyone's following claims but one thing stood out to me
"News travels fast. I want to let you know that, yes, someone is in the hospital in grave condition."

Eliminated indefinitely is @Chaostrodon
The writeup said Chaos is in grave condition - not dead - then said "eliminated indefinitely" instead of "eliminated" - is resurrection a possibility?

Chaos reads. I haven't seen anywhere that he actually voiced scummy feels on anyone.
I'm a little confused about why Chaos was the night kill choice other than the pack RNGed or picked someone who usually doesn't die early

How’s the fishing today?

i dont think chaos was the night kill choice because he should have been safe if directly targeted?

Iffy to interpret I think because we don't know if he was targeted directly and didn't use his ability or if he was hiding behind the true target. I think.

we know someone else almost died per the write up, too
I guess that’s the part I was trying to understand given the write up. Was someone else attacked and chaos ended up dead in the process?
or did chaos go “heh I won’t be target night one it’s finnnnnneeeee” and not submit a night action

I mean, I don’t really see that an EOD or x times ability is out of the question here. That would make sense for a role like that, at least in my modding brain.
What one that eats villagers powers like they’re ****ing candy?!
#bitter
Whoever did that earned salt yeet for life

"Permeation allowed any actions to pass through him while hidden. However, if his unknowing shield was eliminated, he would also meet the same fate."

I've never played in a game with a hider. So you guys are saying the two possibilities would be either he didn't hide last night, or the person he hid behind was targeted. Is that normally how hiding works? That if someone else is targeted, the hider dies instead of the target? Because when I hear "he would also meet the same fate" it makes me think that both of them would have to die and Chaos would only have died if the "unknowing shield" was also eliminated as per his role description.

So I'm thinking more toward he didn't use his ability last night unless someone can make the second option make sense to me without both people dying

I have watched him intentionally not submit a night action more than once before so it's not a foreign thought process to me.

Usually, it's an all for one. If the target lives, Chaos lives. If the target dies, Chaos dies.

I’ve read this 3 times and I’m not understanding
Oh you were talking about hiding. I thought you were talking about the power thief.
Seems like an all for one power perhaps. Monoma just copies, not inactivates
You mean like a village all for one or I think there’s a villain I haven’t gotten to yet?

I'm having a hard time with the Bread vote I guess because this just feels like Bread every game to me
This is my reason
There's a fine line between bread being bread and bread doing the "Hello fellow villagers! I am saying things which means I am definitely contributing" thing and I'm feeling the latter here, more of a forced and artificial tone and also slightly more activity without any more substance to match it
I've noticed when bread is wolfing (at least in the two times I've wolfed with him and got to watch it unfold from the perspective of the pack) he feels pressured to post more often in order to get targeted less for inactivity. He ends up posting a lot of fluff in the process though, or things that don't quite make sense if it does relate to the game. I'm feeling that a lot here, I didn't finish reading through the thread last night but he had a lot more posts than he normally does but no extra content.

Hmm. I mean, I'll think about it since you've wolfed with him on multiple occasions.

Any other reads at the moment?

No other strong wolf pings at the moment, still got some thread catching up to do

we know someone else was also targeted from the write up

I'm trying to make it make sense
But do we know that they were targeted to die? Because it just says another person was overpowered but obviously they didn't die, so it sounds more like another type of action that wasn't death-related

ambushed usually implies to die

I thought that was Samac, since she said her flavor referenced fighting valiantly and the write up said it was a valiant effort

If there was some other mechanic at play to keep the other person from dying (innate to their role or protection or whatever), would chaos still die? I mean, kd can do whatever she wants, just wondering if you've seen that before.

depends entirely on the host and their interpretation

Right but Samac is claiming that's what happened to her but the kill didn't go through, I'm talking about the other part of the writeup that says someone was successfully overpowered

samac decided that's what it meant. doesn't mean it's what it meant

WHO DID THAT TO ME YOU DAMN NERDS?!
If you’re village you just ****ed up. Hard.
if you’re wolf well ****ing played.
I think it’s a wolf, though considering the flavor text.

but if anyone has the ability to give a quirk back I WOULD VERY MUCH LIKE MINE BACK PLEASE AND THANK YOU
This feels very village!Samac in tone
Curious if power is just gone or more worryingly in someone else’s hands

Also unfamiliar with hider, but I could also imagine a third situation where he tried to hide and was blocked or otherwise couldn’t complete his action

I can’t remember if I’ve played with wolf!bread (I don’t think so?) but this is how village!bread has been eliminated in several games I think (or kinda similar players like Bob). It’s always the uncomfortable option of keeping a jokey low-content villager vs uncovering a lurking wolf
