alright so I also like to believe you should be yourself during interviews and should try to feel comfortable. I have a pretty good sense of humor. I had an interview about 2 months ago. now, truth be told, i didn't care if i got into this school or not since there was a very large chance i wouldnt go even if accepted. so maybe i didnt take the interview QUITE as seriously as i should have. while most of the interview remained serious and i gave what i believed to be solid answers, I also made a couple clean and simple jokes. I thought they were funny, and guaranteed my friends would have laughed, and even the interviewers chuckled a little bit. I got straight rejected, and im almost totally certain that was why. but yeah, like you, I just naturally make jokes. i think people should have a sense of humor, especially in medicine. it definitely helps me be more personable and certainly has helped with making conversation with fellow applicants on interview day. but take my advice- if you want to get into medical school, do NOT make ANY jokes during the interview. smile and act happy and all that, but don't make any jokes. pretend like your career is on the line during that 30-60 minutes (which, I guess, it sort of is).
