Look on the facebook group KCOM 2012 wall. There are some current KCOM students that are very helpful with that sort of question; there also is a separate post about housing. You could try searching on the net or e-mailing your admissions person and they would probably send you info of some kind.
Good luck!!!!!!

I don't know where you live, but I would spend a day just driving around. Most of the places for rent are not listed in the newspaper or on line. You need to get one set up by June. You have to compete with the Truman students as well.

If you pay more than 600/mo, you are getting screwed. There are some nice ones just up the street from the school. Parking at the school kind of sucks and in the winter, the parking lot turns into a skating rink. Walk if you can.

Some places will even let you do a month to month verbal contract. Others want something in writing. There is a part of town where all the streets are named after chess pieces. There's some real nice stuff in there.

Is there a good way to find a roommate?

I'm excited too!!! Can't wait!!!! :hardy:

two popular complex's when i was in med school were Med Row and Scott street apartment. both run by heritage house realty. right across the street from the hospital, walk to school and the TCC (gym).

Med row is what people mentioned on the tour.

If you are looking for roommates, you can use this forum or if you want a little more direct approach, use the addresses that come in your email. Before your official school email address gets set up, they use the email you listed on your primary app. They send out mass emails to all the new students. the addresses are usually in the header of the email.
