What? I was asking if anybody had gotten a message from the mods that related to something about their eyes last night.

I awoke to a note about "pressure on my eyes overnight." I saw the morning write up said something about all of us rubbing dust from our eyes after yesterday's lynch was cancelled by some sort of magic dust (fairy or sandman?) and assumed it was related. But since nobody else commented, I asked.

I have since been told it is related to an item.

Thanks. I did so. Yeah, it's funny, all of STL's posts have that Irish theme. I'm guessing they're a Leprechaun. I don't know what that means in the game. They usually have powers but it's usually mischevious.

I was wondering which Irish legend. Leprechaun or Selkie or ?

I just took it to mean she had dust in her eyes which to me seems like it would make it hard to do any "menacing glaring". I may have interpreted it wrong.

If it's dust in the eyes it seems like someone could be trying to prevent someone else from seering/investigating.

I didn't say her role sounds village. And I don't play or vouch as "her friend", more than once I've been the one to catch her as a wolf since she's always the one I have under the most scrutiny. To insinuate my word on whether her not using the claimed ability N1 makes sense is less trustworthy than anyone else's is kind of ridiculous.

You said something about dust and eyes... I thought this meant you had dust in your eyes last night. If someone had put dust in your eyes somehow I thought it could be a mechanism to attempt to block a person from seering if it turned out they had that ability, not that you ARE the seer.

You verifying her role wouldn't be used N1 means less than if a random player said it because of intrinsic biases. THIS IS NOT A PERSONAL ATTACK. I would say this for most players.

It is not a case of semantics. Verifying "if x is true, y makes sense" is a notably different statement in this game than, "z sounds villager-y."

She even prefaced the statement with "if she's telling the truth"...

Of course the point is to add to the public discussion information that helps people make an informed decision about how valid her claim may be. Would you really expect me to withhold that? You stated that your reason for lynching her was that she didn't use her ability on N1 and you think a villager would use an active ability every night. You don't think it's pertinent that her claimed role is one she couldn't have used on N1?

The eye roll was in response to your complete mischaracterization of what I said, and throwing in that I should be trusted less because Trilt and I are friends. It's silly. I'm not going to argue about it any more.

STL has addressed redirection taking precedence over blocking earlier in the game (I think, will go back and quote). I think that's likely what happened N2, our redirector could confirm but I doubt they'd want to do so publicly.

Stall the ball, last night will be of interest to many of ye. The order of operations are quare. Ye see, last night, a laddie decided to redirect me to someone else, while a chancer decided to block me. I may be bate, but I am quite sure that although the block was successful, me actions were not blocked. This makes the order of operations banjaxed and blocking essentially gammy. It's gob****e.

However, the wan that redirected me should be thanked. I happened upon a feek (in game character may be a lad) who was holding a hockey stick. Me familiarity with the American cinema may not be mighty, but it makes me think of a Jason movie. Anyone know of any other mythical/magical character that would be beholden to a hockey stick?

Here, Jil. I was redirected N2, but I didn't get any sort of notification about a block.

I'm not going to lynch her today just because she's the other leading candidate and I think Trilt is being truthful, lynching someone I really think to be a villager is not a great idea.. sooo I'm just going with the other and most new lead. If you play an entire game based on the suspicions of players more experienced then you only you will get screwed over.

It is a weak reason, I will fully admit that. I will probably waffle, but I wanted a vote in because I was about to leave for work. Now that I got the called I am delayed I can be here until lynch and see how it all plays out.

I'm not excited about any of these lynches so at this point I am leaning towards Gwen just because she seems like the safest option. She would have been iseful if a villager but not so much anymre now that she's outed that ability.

And it is strange that she would just go ahead and remove the usefulness from her ability by so readily and publicly revealing it. What was the thinking there? I'm still waiting to cast a vote but thats where I'm at right now.

Even if Kam were a wolf, it doesnt make sense to me that her not saying on thread that she was blocked would make her Wolfy. There was still a kill, no? Admiting to the block potentially could even help build cred since you know if she were blocked she couldn't have done the kill.... So anyway, I don't have feels either way about Kam yet, bur I think this is faulty logic.
