The site says " Record experiences chronologically beginning with your high school years." But it lists two categories: "High school years" and "College to Present"

I assumed it meant state activities from the start date but the "to Present" part if throwing me off. I started volunteering at my hospital during highschool but I am still doing it; so do I place this activity in my high school years and just write "till present" as the end date?
 
You list it by start date, doesn't matter how long you did it or in what era of your educational life.

What is the earliest date people were completed? Because I think most of us won't get decisions tomorrow.
 
I get my email to my phone,my phone ringtone went off and I freaked, it ended up being my friend. They are dead!

Yesterday went like this: Get off work, check Email... server down. Go to SDN... takes forever to load. Finally loads... acceptances go out tomorrow. :bang:

I shared a website from my phone to my email. Freaked out 5 minutes later when I had a new message in my inbox.
 
I called admissions and asked them and the lady said it's only the first meeting of the admissions committee and that acceptances wouldn't be going out today. But then again she could be bluffing. Ugh why do med schools have to be such teases 😕
 
Either they are lying to you or they lied to SpartyOn, or one of you is lying.

Lesson learned: TRUST NO ONE!

Sigh. I wish they would actually set a date and mean it. I'm sick of constantly refreshing my email.

Surprised by what, exactly? There are no official dates given by MSU directly. You've been watching a forum--i.e., you've been reading what is essentially hearsay.

You all need to relax and unclench!

well thats not true, had two separate meetings with two separate people on the admissions committee both indicating yesterday and today as dates to being accepting students....and not to mention for the previous three years this is the week they start...so..theres that...we are allowed to be a little frustrated, we all have alot invested in this
 
Has anyway not received a complete email from MSUCOM, even after all the boxes are green check marks? How long did it take for you guys to receive the complete email? Thanks!

It took me less 12 hours to receive the 'application completed' email after my application and letters of recommendation were submitted.

You will never get into medicine is what they told me, lol!

lol Definitely the rule here is educated selection on what you choose to take in. A good chunk of the forums is garbage. However, there are nuggets of gold hidden throughout. 🙂

I spoke with someone at MSUCOM today in person and I'm pretty sure acceptances won't go out until the 3rd week of September... 🙁
 
so we should expect to hear something by around 16-17th?
