Has anyone who was accepted last Thursday received an email or anything besides the phone call? It's freaking me out a little not to have anything concrete, like I dreamed it all up or something.

Congrats! I was accepted last week and haven't received an email either so I wouldn't sweat it.

IS ~3.7 28 complete at the end of July
 
It seems like In-states and those completed at the end of July gets their acceptance first?

I'm in state completed at the end of July and haven't heard anything yet, so I wouldn't generalize that too much.

I haven't gotten anything either. I don't know why they're taking so long..weird.

Only ISers have been accepted on this thread thus far. Normally, applicants wont hear anything unless they were accepted or wait listed... Rejections come in around May

Haven't heard anything yet. Bad sign?

Your mcat and gpa are solid and you haven't even been complete one month. I was complete about the same time as you, 3.6c 3.75s 31mcat OOS and I still haven't heard anything. These things can take time my man/woman
 
Are we thinking this week it might be Wednesday acceptances? Or Thursday again like last week?
 
For the Genetics requirement, you only need 3 semester hours with no less than a C. I have about 6 semester hours in 3 classes and received a C- in one of those classes. Will I be okay with meeting their requirement?

As long as you have 3 credit hours with a C or higher, then you've got 3 with no less than a C. Unless they mean something completely different than what they wrote...

Same here. Would love to hear soon. I'm Canadian, so I'm not anticipating anything for another couple weeks as it stands 🙁
 
Long time lurker on this thread. Just got the call this morning IS 3.7/32

I just called the admission, the told me that they are not reviewing the applications in order. just in case someone is worried like I was
 
I'm in state. 3.75 C 3.73 S 29 MCAT. They called me at 11:30 AM Eastern
 
I hope it isn't too long before they start looking at OOS

Meaning they review first-come first-serve, or they completely randomize the order (eg throw darts at a board with applicants' names on it)?
 
So far it seems like only in-states have been looked at. Hopefully OOS will be soon. Every Thursday will have me on edge now...
 
For those accepted today, were you told when you would be receiving an email or snail mail?
 
Just got a call from area code 518. So close! I thought it was going to be the one, but nope. Haha🙄

they said that they would likely send out a packet via snail mail friday or monday and we should be getting an email within the next week. She said that if we don't get it by next Thursday we shouldn't worry because they are dealing with a new system and they have been having problems.

So it looks like they are calling every Thursday? Or are people getting notified on other days.
 
Does MSU have mandatory attendance? Are the lectures, powerpoints and notes made available online?
 
Is anyone else having trouble getting the admission deposit to show up on the website?
