I completed secondary on 7/19, still haven't heard anything yet. Called them and they said decision pending.

Is there anyone have the same situation? I am getting very worried. I live 20 miles away from Nova, this is my first choice......
 
Interview Invite!! Interviewing on 10.31. Stats: 3.6c, 3.5s, 29MCAT. Submitted secondary on 8.3.
 
Just got an II as well! Scheduled it for the 29th, anyone else going to be there?

10 minutes after my RVU rejection got an NSU II. Couldn't have been better timing, haha.

Just realize I could reschedule to get an earlier date.
I'm thinking bat it nsu my top choice.

Same situation here, submitted 7/19 and nothing either. Hopefully we will get good news soon.

3.4 26R invite to DMU. I would really love an opportunity to see this school
 
II today was complete July 20th!! So excited for those wondering I have mcat 27 cgpa 3.29 sgpa 3.45 and my post bacc gpa was a 3.95.
 
aw man. I did not know the dates would fill up so quickly. I was hoping to think about it for a bit before scheduling the date. You guys are fast.
MCAT 29, GPA 3.4 OOS
 
I am rescheduling my 9/10 interview, maybe that spot will open up so one of you with the later interviews can take it

There is now one 9/10 up for the taking! prob wont last long though as its the only white spot in 3 months

I have never posted in these forums until today because I have to thank you for your 9/10 interview spot. I opened up my link at around 4:30 PM, saw no spots available, and called the office to see what was up. They told me to call back on Monday, then I opened the link and saw 9/10 available and I snagged it immediately.

So again, thank you!

Anyone thinking about rescheduling their 9/10 date? I have an interview on 9/9 at lecom-b and would really like to get a date at nova around this instead of a month later 🙁. Flying across the country for this.
 
I'm scheduled for 10/10 but thinking of moving it to 10/31 or 11/7. It's for financial reasons. I got laid off from my job and need more time to save $$ for this trip. Does anyone think interviewing this late will compromise my chances? 🙁

Quote from a current nova student was that as long as you interview before Christmas, your chances are significantly higher.
 
I had previously sent Nova a DO letter, 2x Science and a Philosophy LoR. I have recently gotten my MD LoR loaded up to Interfolio, should I send it along as well or will that be overkill? Both MD and DO letters are very strong.

Definitely send it in. Idk if they'll see it before it after your interview but can't hurt.
 
I read in the other secondary page that there is no essay questions for the secondary for NSU. I was wondering if the question about "how did you learn about osteopathic medicine" be a part of the Essay part?

I can't seem to find the secondary topic and I got the request for their secondary =/

Some responded by writing a paragraph or two and others by answering it with a sentence or two.

I answered that question with one sentence. I have an interview scheduled next month. Seems to me that either way you respond to this question is acceptable.

I decided to get a room to myself as it will be easier getting ready in the morning etc.

Holiday Inn Express, right near the school has a Nova rate of $69.99, so anyone who needs a room, this seems very reasonable.

It's only Tuesday. Give it some time. I had a phone call about mine because it never went through.

I just sent them an additional LoR last week and I interview on the 27th. I hope they are fine with it 🙂

Check your spam folder. The confirmation is sent from a weird sender address, so it gets categorized as junk. I remember freaking out last year because I didn't get a confirmation email and it was sitting in my spam box the whole time. If it's not in there, then definitely call them to confirm.

Just cancelled my ii for 8/26. Going to withdraw tomorrow. Hope someone else can grab the earlier date. Good luck all!

LECOM-B over NSU? What factors came into play for you?
 
Tuition and COL. I have a wife and two kids to think about. Also I felt like PBL was a good fit for me.
