If you mean the Nova Webstar summary, it doesn't show your score on there. If the date is there and correct, then they got it.

The shuttle should drop you right outside the Terry administration building where the interview will take place. Theres no long walking around looking for the interview spot so you should be in good shape. going the night before isn't really necessary (but if you need that for your piece of mind go ahead). I stayed at Hampton and the driver knew exactly where to drop us off.

Scheduled interview for Sep 24. Any one want to room together? PM me if you wan to room or meet up during the interview. I will most likely be renting a car...

I fly into Miami the night before around 8. But I am renting a car and not staying at the Hampton...
 
How is everyone receiving II's, phone? Are they sending them out in batches?
 
Btw, everyone waiting like me, next batch is Aug 2nd most likely based on previous threads (First batch last year was Aug 3rd, which was a Friday).

I'm rooting for all of us! :luck:

I would assume its the only one in Fort Lauderdale.. its NW of the school by about 4 miles.

Interviewing on the 10th, staying at Hampton.. Sounds like that is the one everyone stays at and meets up etc. Sounds good to me.
 
Unless im reading it wrong it looks like last year the second batch of interviews wasn't until 20 days after the first batch. First looks like 8-3 and second looks like 8-23

Its going to be a looong wait then if thats true 🙁
 
For those of you who don't have a pre-professional committee, did you guys only send in the 4 required letters (physician, 2 sci, 1 non-sci), or did you send more than 4?

For some reason I thought Nova accepted more than just 4 LORs...
 
Nova stats are going up... They just published their average..... 3.49cGPA, 3.4sGPA and 28 MCAT... No wonder that so many on SDN have been saying that they are 'MCAT obsessed'

I sent 8, and while they said they received them all, they only really acknowledge four for me.

Also, when I called, they said my application was "Decision Pending" today. Anyone else call and ask about that?

I only sent 4 (I had 6) and it worked out fine 🙂 but I knew I had strong LORs

I don't get how they are "MCAT obsessed". Do people mean relative to the lower GPA avgs the MCATs are higher?

Darklabel, when were you complete? My app is "Under Review". Decision Pending sounds good. Complete 7/11

I sent 6. I'm interviewing 8/27.
 
So my physician LOR was received by Interfolio yesterday, so I sent all my LORs to the schools I've submitted secondaries for.

How long are you guys waiting before contacting NSU (or other schools for that matter) to verify completion of your file?

Nova called me telling me I'm "complete" but at that time they didn't have my LORs....so I wasn't really complete...
 
I think stats going up is very important for Osteo schools to be (at least superficially) as competitive as Allo schools. Anyways:

anybody have any updates? I was complete two weeks ago and nothing.

You don't necessarily have to accept your entire loan amount. Nova does give you more money for other purposes (some people are interested in getting their own home, having a wedding, having kids, etc.). All in all, cost of living isn't so high here (compared to my home state of California), and no matter where you go, you'll be in debt.

Also, I'll be an incoming first year. If anyone wants my input about interviews (or the application process in general), please feel free to PM me.

I just got the complete email 7/31 that they received anything and got the call from admissions after I submit my secondary around 7/25. I'm OOS, URM 25 MCAT about 3.2 GPAs.
Interviewing Sept 24th!!

Interview invite! My first one, OOS. I got my email a little before 4 today, I'm interviewing on Sept 19th.

Hi Guys,

New to SDN, but I just submitted my secondary app yesterday and received the verification call today. Does anyone know how frequently they send out IIs? I understand a batch were just sent out today. Good luck to everyone 🙂
