I'm in the same boat. 3.51c, 3.59s, 29. l live in Miami for crying out loud, have been complete since 6/27, and not a peep from Nova
 
Still nothing here. Definitely disheartening. Hopefully something will show up next time. :scared:
 
I got my first ii!!!!!
Super excited, especially since i've been having major issues with my pre-med office sending all of my letters... :bang:

OOS, 3.61cGPA, 3.32 sGPA, 27 MCAT

Similar stats, also interviewing on te 15th, already booked the Hyatt pier 66. Will see you at the interview!
 
They received my primary on July 25th and I think I submitted my secondary by...August 1st!
 
Anyone else for Oct 10th? Was hoping to have another SDN'er in the group.

Nice, I'm interviewing on the same date! Congrats. Similar stats here (27, 3.65 cGPA, 3.45 sGPA, OOS). Best of luck everyone!

Hey everyone! I just got my secondary application yesterday and I was wondering if I should submit it yet without LORs? We have a committee interview and I won't be able to get that done with until the end of August so my LORs won't be sent until then. I am a little nervous because I feel like I need all the help I can get with those letters. 26 mcat 3.99 gpa. Anybody have an opinion on what to do? Thank you!

MCAT is a little low but GPA is great.

Definitely apply now! In fact, you should've applied earlier since it is known that they grant interviews without LoRs.

Hey how long after you emailed about a status update did it take for them to get back to you? I'm thinking about emailing them tomorrow morning. Btw thanks for the class of 2018 thread!

Out of curiosity, do you know of any other schools that invite for interviews before receiving committee letter or LORs?

Np 👍 and I have called before through their phone line, but they usually never had an answer for me. Then I 1 day call them and they informed me that a decision was made and to expect something in the mail (which is usually never good news pre-interview).

Then, I checked my email today and I got an II.

Definitely try to get in touch with them by phone, I feel like its more direct.

Since you're staying at the Hyatt, I suggest checking out the Ft. Lauderdale Beach area (if you have time of course). It's pretty awesome with a ton of places to eat and drink. Some classmates and I went right before classes officially started and it was awesome!

Hows Nova treating you Neko? Also can first years be student ambassadors? And if so, will you be one?
 
I will be driving down to Ft. Lauderdale in the late afternoon on the 26th (haven't booked a hotel yet) but if anyone interviewing on the 27th or any current students want to meet up for dinner that night let me know.

Looking forward to hopefully meeting some SDN people!

I'll also be driving in sometime on the 26th and wouldn't mind some chill time before jumping into the interview. Keep me posted and let's make it happen!

I'll be there on the 27th. My flight doesn't get in until 12:30 AM on the 27th. WTF was I thinking when I booked it? Sigggggghhh.
 
I took the MCAT two months ago and got a 27. I'm flying up to Georgia to take it again at the end of August but already submitted my primary and secondary to NOVA. Never told them I took the MCAT once already. Will they see my score too late and not give me an interview. I want to boost to 29 or 30 but am scared that it will be too late.

I've spent the past few days off of SDN and been perfectly happy about my 1 ii. Now I come back and remember why I swore off it for a little while. It is pretty disheartening to not hear anything. Not even a rejection from anywhere, and I've been complete at at least 7 DO schools since early/mid-July.

In other news, I just murderlyzed my orgo 2 final, so I'm going to get off SDN and go get a beer. Cheers to all of you with ii's! And cheers to you guys still waiting on em as well, right there with you...

Nova's awesome! Beautiful campus, caring professors, great facilities, strong ties to the area- it's a pretty sweet deal. I've met a ton of my classmates and everyone has been really friendly and chill so far. My class in general seems to mesh well, so NSU did a good job of choosing the class.

First years can be ambassadors. They just send out an application for it earlier this week. And yeah I'm definitely thinking of applying 🙂

Hopefully we'll be having beers after Nova classes next year 👍

Has anyone from last cycle's waiting list gotten an interview yet, if you've reapplied?
 
I tried to submit my application today but this showed up:
"Sorry, an error occured. We are not able to process the payment at this time."

I have tried a few times today but keep getting that. did anyone else have this problem or know what I should do? Thanks!
 
Which browser are you using? Try IE instead of Chrome or Firefox. Or on you Safari? I hope that helps.

Haven't heard anything yet. I do know my file has been complete for over 1 month, but otherwise no news. In fact, I turned in my secondary before my primary was verified and processed lol. Was really hoping for an early ii and Sept interview date, but it appears those are all booked up already.

Does anyone know if it's poor form to send a letter of interest prior to an interview invite? I just want to cover my bases and make sure I haven't given everything I've got to this process...I'd hate to have any regrets.
