**Official 2024 Ortho PASS/Interviews/Match/Non-Match**

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
No I feel very similar. The whole application process is super frustrating with every school wanting 50 different supplemental materials. Feels like they don’t respect your time as a professional when you spend hours filling out the same information on PASS.
Them: Tell me why you are interesting?

Me: I am not. 😄

Also it kinds sucks that Texas making it mandatory to attend the social event ..some people might get another invite on that day..or hard to get two days off or pay for hotel...etc...like they think people are only applying to them.
No most people are applying broadly.

But yeah social is very important to attend anyway..

Does anyone know programs that didn't send out all their invitations on the initial day last year, but instead sent them out in multiple waves?

Anyone know if Houston sends a second wave of invites or if all the invites were sent out yesterday?

They will sent another wave if anyone invited decide not to come.

Super random question but do Bronxcare or Medstar Washington require work experience or residency beforehand to apply?

Deciding on the last minute whether to apply or not

no they don't
I am also deciding if I should still send to Medstar and get ghosted by them or not

anyone know the max number of interviews people used to be able to attend before covid? Seems like attending any more than 5 in-person is a logistical nightmare

Once you get INBDE results back, how are you sending them in? Are you sending them directly to PASS or emailing them to the schools?

I started sending them to schools cause I didn’t know I could send them to pass 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ but some schools did indicate to send scores “via email provided” so I sent the scores directly to these schools in addition to pass.

Both methods have to be through ADA as well, there is an option to send to PASS in the "recipients list", but if you want to email them, you skip the list and then continue with the school info on the next page.

Hey guys did anyone else get an "application incomplete" email from Florida today?

Also for any of you who feel anxious/stressed about not getting interview invites, it is still very early in the process. This is my second time applying, but last year I received an invite UIC one week before their interview date. So just because some programs sent out their initial wave of invites it does not mean you are out of luck. Keep your head up!

Being very honest here, should I just take the L and forget that I applied? Haven't gotten a single interview.

You mean that...if there is no invitation by now, there's not a chance to match to any program anymore?

Of course Rutgers told me the fee wasn't processed because I forgot to sign the check I sent them ......

It’s possible to do both if you were able to schedule Houston on the 19th and LSU on the 20th. You would probably be late to or miss LSUs social on the 19th but you can still interview at both places.
I scheduled the second date for Houston and don't want to ruin any chances by emailing them and asking to switch and not looking 100% committed. May be overthinking it.

I’d pick the one you want to go to more, from what I’ve heard the socials are actually really important. Congrats though, good problem to have!!

I emailed Houston to switch my preference to the first session to hopefully be able to make it to LSU’s social and interview as well. Houston said both sessions are currently filled and at this time can’t switch unless somebody from the first session wants to switch

Between a two year expensive program and a 3 year cheaper program (Same cost of living) which one you would choose?

Regarding Tufts, does anyone know if the social event is one day only or is there a social for each interview date? I ask because I would like to attend both, but if the social were on Monday and my interview were on Thursday, I would rather interview on Tuesday instead.
