UW and Ohio same day interviews.
Which one would you go to and why?

UW- solid clinical program but $50k annual tuition
Ohio- Good program, not as strong clinically as UW but $4k tuition annually.

Huge difference financially

I would look at QoL as well. If its similar and the clinical component of OSU isn't terrible, then OSU is the clear choice imo.

You could also ask about additional interview dates. Keep in mind the cost of living in Seattle is insane

UMKC Interview date is Oct. 9th, per Dr. Lai (Director Adv. Perio). Invitations for interviews will go out between Aug. 15th and 30th.

No I don’t believe so.
Most of the interviews come after the deadline. Hang in there. Things have barely started.

If we apply to a non-match school does that mean we can't apply to any match schools?

You can apply to whichever school you want. It just means that if you get an offer from a non-match school and you accept it, you need to pull out of the match.

He did not specify. He just said invites will be sent between those dates, but most programs have a goal # of interviewees, so I'd imagine that depending on how many confirmations they get, they may send more after the 30th.

UofMaryland --> interview date September 11th
Stony Brook --> dates 8/17, 08/22, 08/24, 08/29

Another classmate of mine received it at exactly 9AM on Saturday as well though. I hope someone else on here can confirm too!
