I'm disappointed that your name isn't Dr. Slimthicc

ME TOO! I'm bring my kitty alllll the way across the country. I'm very nervous to fly with him :nailbiting:. but like you, I cannot live without him! he's gonna be my buddy and big stress-reliever for me:happy:

Oh, wow! We are only moving 2 hours away, and I'm nervous about the car ride. I can't imaging having to fly with him!

I've always had pets, and I think I'd be so sad without my companion! Love him to pieces

Aww I'm so jealous you guys are bringing your cats! Mine is still staying with my mom, haven't been able to find an affordable pet-friendly apartment yet 🙁

🙁 I hope you're able to find something! I can relate though. It was a pain finding housing!

Oh how I wish it was a 2 hour car ride! lol

My wife and I have 3 little pups. We are a little worried about the prospects of moving, haha.

What kind of dog?

I have a golden retriever! She's spunky but has settled down at eight years old so I think she'll be a pretty relaxed roommate 🙂 I am struggling to find a pet friendly apartment though so I've started looking at houses.

I just got my MMR titer last week. If it's low how long do you have to wait before doing another titer?
It was almost 7-8 years ago so I don't remember too well but for me I had a second test 2 months later. Not sure if that was as early as possible tho

Well got all loans for aid so I guess it's time to get reamed by uncle sam.

Don't forget to sign your life away with the promissory note.

I asked one of my references if I could use them and they said of course and that if I ever forfeit on my payments, they will be more than happy to sell me out to the Feds.

What stethoscopes are y'all getting? There's so many choices...

And literally do not know the difference between of all the Littman scopes. Card, Card Master, Card Classic , Card Master Classic, Card SE... wtf man....

I was gonna do that but I read the employee handbook and it says that they can terminate my employment at any time after I declare that I'll be living. I'm planning on leaving early June so I'm afraid that if i tell them now, they'll be like Get the F out 🤔 and I'd miss out on 2 paychecks (which is about 3k, I do not wanna give up on 3k).
I'm in the same boat!

I'm in the same boat!

I worked as a scribe while interviewing cause it was flexible. After acceptance in Jan I got a new job in feb that I plan to quit in July. They have no idea because the job pays great and I need the money to move to med school . When I interviewed with the company, no way in h#*% I could tell them!

Oh and I forgot to mention that the training for the job takes 6 months

I actually have a funny story regarding the one I'm taking...

I went on a date with this guy and he told me that he "was in med school once". and to my knowledge, this dude was not a physician. So I go, huh?? And he was like yeah, I dropped out during the first year. And I'm like omg, what happened?? So it turns out he was at a Caribb school and he learned quickly that med school takes a lot of work and it's really fast paced and "you really have to have a passion for it" lol. So I was like wow ok, interesting. Dude just bailed on Caribb school cuz it was too hard lol. Soooooo despite all that, I hung out with him again a 2nd (and last) time. Point of the story: he decided to give me his stethoscope that he didn't need anymore from med school hahaha. So I got a free stethoscope from the guy. He was nice, but it didn't work out:angelic:

How you earned that stethoscope 🙂

Don't most schools get their M1s stethoscopes from that one foundation started by the parents of the kid who died before he started med school?

Anyone know what I'm talking about? No? Just me? K Back to Netflix for me.

I was looking at the card 4, but now I guess I'll be getting the weird 3-headed hydra one.

I started watching this show called "Man in the High Castle" and its set in an alternate universe if Japan/Germany won WWII. The show is pretty lit.

I've actually had this open in a tab for the last six months on my work computer. I'm nearly through the entire thing! 😀
I wish I'd found it earlier. This is one of the best threads I've ever seen on this website haha

haha i'm only two pages in and still can't believe some of these stories

Lol I worked in a hospital that had (or at least I originally thought had) a slightly more odd population than average, and saw a lot of similar stories. It was kind of reassuring to know that people are the same way everywhere

In case anyone else is looking for ways to pass the time during their last few days of work

Things I Learn From My Patients
That is one of the all time funniest threads ever on SDN. I wonder what happened to docB, he hasn't been around in few years. His last few posts seemed a bit ominous. I wonder what happened to him. 🙁
