I mean really. Is there some official blessing that gets bestowed on a thread to make it an "official" thread? What are the benefits of being an "official" thread over just a regular thread? Do more people read "official" threads? Is there some kind of SDN tax one must pay to create an "official" thread? Perhaps all threads should start with the word "official" to help ease thread discrimination and level the playing field.
