Same tuition, both in metropolitan areas, and both have great matchlists. I'm from the Philly area and have heard a lot of great things about Jefferson growing up in the area. However, my second visits to these schools suggested that Ohio state has far greater research opportunities and had a stronger program.

I would like to hear what you sdn-ers think. plz take a sec and vote on my poll!

thanks

I don't think it's the same tuition unless you got some huge scholarship at Jefferson. You can easily qualify for in-state tuition after one year at OSU. Living cost in Columbus is also much much lower. And if research is important to you, I think you are better off with OSU since Jeff isn't exactly a research powerhouse.

I actually averaged out the total you would pay at OSU over the 4 yrs factoring the IS tuition after year 1 and the two were actually very similar.

However, I do agree w/ you about the living costs. Philly is super expensive!
