It was just an idea that someone threw out there to explain why there have been two nights with no wolf kills. Since it seems like some villagers' abilities aren't activated until they find their match, it's possible that there are wolves that can't use their abilities until they are "activated." Perhaps maybe they need to be connected to the right item? Idk.

It was just an idea I tossed out there as a possible explanation for the comparatively few night deaths. It's completely possible that the targets are being protected, or the wolves are being blocked or that they can only kill every other night (or some other reason), but with the way the show seems to work (the curse thing) it seemed like a possibility to me that something has to happen to allow the wolves to kill more regularly.
 
I am going to go against the activation idea... seems like it would make the game last entirely too long. I understand that concept with villager roles, but with wolves, I don't know, I feel like they would always be struggling then. Just my opinion. In the vet school game, the wolves didn't get a successful kill until Night 4 or something like that, the other players were just really protected.

so, trying to get me to actively admit whether or not I think I can escape death? Maybe I can, maybe I can't... Maybe I had protection last night... But, the way it was presented to me (savagely beaten) is much different than those that couldn't pm/vote previously, and I believe it could very well have been a failed attempt to kill me... maybe I'm reading too much into it and maybe I'm inflating my sense of importance... but i wanted to entertain that idea too

I didn't necessarily defend hook, I just put out there that someone admitted to being Hook to me, and that they also claimed it a villager role, trying to at least have some conversation regarding what the ship may entail as well as who the wolves could be in the game. I might have a theory on what the ship meant, but will have to see what it could be... since I can't PM anyway, it will be impossible for me to learn any more information...

And FFM wasn't proven to be a wolf or a villager, and I still stand by my decision to not lynch him. I play these games with an open mind, and an open PM box, and learn that some skeptical trust can get you along pretty well in these games... and while I have been burned, I've also saved some very valuable players with a little faith in them...

I am not Hook.... nor would I go about spouting my role to rojo... no offense buddy....

I tend to PM very infrequently in these games as is... unless I have a good reason....

👍 ditto.... I think these nights with no kills are either blocked attacks or protection.... I just don't buy having a game where the wolves were at a disadvantage kill wise with an activation process - would not be a very good WW model

Contingency lynch ws if there is no new info (I expect to be able to check in throughout the day and can change my vote if there is reason to)

Also, I have reason to believe (but no solid evidence) that the apple item is NOT the apple(s) mentioned in the write up of Henry/nstarz demise.
 
On a different note, yesterday i liked the logic that if Red found the red cloak, it might keep her from turning into a wold that night, but now I am wondering if the werewolf/Red is differedt from the typical wolf, because: (SPOILERS BELOW)

Red is considered good on the show
If I remember right, there is one time during the storybrook storyline that she is suspected of killing in wolf form, but turns out she was framed
I know she has used her werewolf ability for good in the storybrook storyline (to talk to the Dalmatian, and to find someone that was missing)


I am not Red, no one has claimed to me that they are Red, this is just a theory that I thought might be worth considering
 
I don't think Devyn would share her role with rojo - she doesn't usually PM a lot and it doesn't strike me that rojo would be the one she'd confide in (although it seems everyone wants to confide in him :laugh:)

I always say this., but it is worth repeating,..but silence/confusion is a wolf's best friend.

Yes we need participation and information (to an extent). We do not need everything revealed on the thread as soon as it is found out. Not talking and silence, I feel, is more advantageous for the wolves. We should not be leaking certain information on the open thread. And a reminder to be careful when you send PM's... sending a PM to you entire group revealing information that could very well harm the villagers if a wolf received the info is not a good idea. So just double, triple check your PM's before you click send. (Especially you SOV... although if you are a wolf please accidentally send someone else a wolfie PM... 😛)

Now that everyone doubts any sort of person I stand up for or try to defend, but as I stated yesterday, I believe WS to be a villager...

I've shown that I'm willing to war for people on less than 100% confirmed information... and many of times have helped out the villagers with this (and I'll admit I've been wrong before though, but am also not without my willingness to accept new facts, case in point, abbers in the SOV game where she was converted... defended her correctly in the beginning, used my information and willingness to trust others to correctly lynch her at the end). I also, while trying to get my webs of informants, also don't go spreading around everyone's identity to even those I have 100% confidence in... usually when I die (not if, but when usually), no information dies with me, but usually when I die, no one person has 100% of my information. So, yes, you are correct Devyn didn't confide in me her role (she isn't Hook... not sure who she is, but it isn't Hook), but its not like we didn't exchange a few PM's that were needed to be exchanged yesterday, nor have I never been involved in PMs and role discussion with her in other games...

In regards to WS - she kept claiming that there would be some definitive helpful input from someone today that would somehow clear her. I'd like to wait for that (or her excuse on why it hasn't come) before deciding to lynch her. At this point I'm more inclined to lynch the quiet people who aren't contributing anything but are lurking.

I am also starting to think this way too. Way too many people that have posted very little and are not contributing. Would rather lynch someone that isn't really participating than someone that is playing and making an effort.

For those of you voting for wolfspeaker, this was brought up yesterday. I understand that it is by no means a clearance, but I think we would probably be better suited to concentrating our efforts on someone else for a moment. I also do not think that the wolves would have to meet up in order to start killing villagers, however it may be possible that one or two wolves are at the start and must convert certain villagers to gain numbers. I will put in that I still have not had any items or gained any intel. I am still having a crazy week and will put in my early vote:

just cause I am a bit tired of the WS thing. If she does turn out to be a wolf, I will send an apology.

Considering I was told they were hook before anyone knew I knew who Tamara was, unless they were working together for it, I doubt it has any relationship to them trying to hoodwink me with the Tamara deal (both happened N2 after the PM ban was lifted).

WS's linked partner doesn't have to come out and vouch for them... I'm doing that for both of them... but since someone came to me and was willing to vouch for someone else, I am willing to spread that information... yes, there is another player that can vouch for WS like WS has claimed since the D2 lynch cycle. And no, WS doesn't have a shady sounding character name according to this source.

I don't doubt them in general..

But I don't think someone telling you their role and saying they are a villager is a credible, actionable piece of information.

FFM was clearly NOT a villager, what else he was I don't know.. But it seems like at first he said he was a villager, then at the very end he said he was neutral/chaos. Then he was a different color. That is pretty damning evidence in my book.

Hook saying they are a villager means nothing to me. Hook is a questionable character. Sgt Hulka or Boba Fett I don't know.

And I am not sure that everyone in these pairs is clean either. I haven't abandoned my belief that all this vouching for our pairs is too convenient.

Having said that... I have added nothing. 😡
 
Really, really bad idea lynching me. Somehow devyn always like to start bandwagons to lynch me..weird.

I don't want to spill my role on here, but if there are any seers out there, go ahead and confirm what I'm saying the next time you can use your powers.

I still think there's at least some clear good/evil in this show, and it would make sense for the clearly evil people to be wolves (or activate-able wolves or whatever). Since people would probably know the role of their partner, I have some faith in pair-clearing. I'm assuming not everyone has a pair and not everyone without a pair is a wolf.

True, these pairs aren't necessarily clean either. But this pair claims to be one of the romantically linked group of fantasy characters, and, especially knowing my role and who I am(was) looking for, I believe their story and their link.

I know Hook (or FFM as Tamara) stating they are a villager means practically nothing. However, we all know that there are roles designed to be shady sounding and designed to fool the villagers into thinking someone who isn't evil is evil. So, when someone comes to me and basically says, hey look, i could just skate along and not have anyone know my role name until or if I get seered, and then deal with it, but I know I sound bad, but I'm x sketchy player but really a villager, you gain a slight amount of credibility to me. Some of you might feel differently, and that's fine, but for now, I'm not selling hook out because I think it's plausible for them to not be a wolf, and i'm more inclined to believe upfront information than information coming out when someone is backpedaling and on the defensive.

Any and all wolves out there, feel free to confide your identity with me... I promise to not immediately spout it off on the thread and get you lynched if you tell me you are a villager... :meanie:
 
So, anyone think that Prince Charming's "father" (King George/a.k.a not really his dad) would be a wolf? That is if he is even in this game. I am watching the show now and he was just shown again, so it got me wondering if he were in this game if he would be a wolf or not.

From watching season one, yes, King George is a major douche and in my opinion would be a wolf. Maybe he changes in season 2, but in season 1, I'd say yes to him being a wolf.

I also agree he would likely be in the game. He is a recurrent character in multiple episodes, and has a role in both worlds (much less prominent in season 1 in Storybrook... only seen in 1 episode)

This is not completely true. I missed mayor vote and one lynch vote. I sent in a contingency for my other vote. I haven't been around on the thread much, but have stated the situation should improve starting today. I'm currently way behind and trying to catch up.

So some buttmunch fed me a poison apple and I can't vote or PM.

I had the red cloak last night, but it seems to not have protected me from the apple.

Anyone else get the cloak? What did it do for you?

I could buy the wolves getting activated bit. If wolf pairs found each other then they could communicate and kill.
