Not sure if it applies to this game, but on this forum, very commonly role names do not correlate to affiliation.

If people do not start lynching there, I will redirect my vote there, but I don't believe we should have a day where all the pressure is on one person.

Options: a) Our animal killer friend did the kill last night, and their ability to kill animals is an every other night ability. b) There are at least two wolves that are traditional fighters.

Personally I would do it on night two, depending on how many shots I had as the vigilante, given that I felt killing someone would provide us with valuable information.

Yes, it's imperative to use vig shots early because it's essentially a free seering. The longer you wait, the more likely a misfire with throw the game.

Well then I am somewhat disappointed in you, because that's dumb.

You have a much higher likelihood of taking out a villager, and these days, assassins are often put into a game when there is a wolf who is difficult to kill by other means.

Hard agree. Mid-game is when I think a big shot is most useful. More data on players, more of a chance that a wolf slipped up over several days to be caught and killed. But not too late in the game that the vig potentially gets killed

Well, that's the point. If they flip village, you're spared a mislynch and have more info to look at better candidates. If they flip wolf, you've got the purest wagons possible for analysis because the other wolves couldn't have known they were going to suddenly die, plus an extra cycle gained.

I really want to be a vig some game so I can prove this.

Hard agree. Mid-game is when I think a big shot is most useful. More data on players, more of a chance that a wolf slipped up over several days to be caught and killed. But not too late in the game that the vig potentially gets killed

Or the vig can just go full blown paranoid and launch cows at unsuspecting soft-cleared villagers. That approach is usually solid

Last night jboos thoughts about Dubz stuck out to me which is why I voted there. Then nav pointed out a possible connection between you and pippy on the thread, and I have the exact same thoughts about you and dubz. Almost like you’re interacted “above” the chat in a way because you each have knowledge of something maybe others don’t. Pippy has been coming at me hard, so either she is really upset about me calling out nav, she knows I’m an easy lynch target because lots of people always suspect me and can form an easy wagon on me, or both. You and pippys interaction this morning remind me of yours and dubz yesterday.

So there is this wolfy nebula floating around with you, dubz, and pippy.

No clue why jboo is lynching me out of nowhere, especially after I agreed with some of the same thing yesterday, so that’s strikingly odd as well.

Personally, I would be okay at this point leaving the pressure on cubs for today, and force his hand at a role claim later in the day. With no one having made role claims at this point, we can either force his hand into obscurity with his claim (inidicative of a wolf), see if he claims one of the wolfier roles (which will be hard for him to do now that he has revoked any emperor role), or see if he boldly claims to be a common gladiator name, which will be easy enough to decipher if he is lying as someone else would likely have the same name. Even if the mod provides him with some sort of cover at this point, there is such a limited number of gladiators that aren't obscure, that they would have to go with some animal that may have fought within the gladiator arena to provide something that isn't obscure.

You're not an easy lynch target for me. I don't generally go after noobs with anything other than phasers set to stun at the very beginning of games unless they do things I find dramatically sketchy, because I like people to get the practice.

Yes, I was annoyed with you and Stagg for previously described reasons, but I said what I wanted to say there and have moved on.

The reason why it strikes me as a tad wolfy is because you are starting to act offended by people questioning you, and while that could just be nooby frustration, it could also be nooby frustration over getting caught as a wolf two times in a row.

Do you have any reads on people who you think are village? And anyone you think may be wolfy beyond just the people who are questioning you?
