What do you want to know about it? Campus is big and beautiful. Very safe (I mean be smart but I never felt unsafe there). Vet school is on a far corner of campus, so you might not go on to main campus for really anything. I miss it a ton 😍

@Gwenevre would also be a good one to ask.

I am an in state student and was given scholarships that covered half of my tuition for this year. I'm sure out of state students get them as well, but not sure on the amount. We have a wonderful psychologist here who can help you with anything and is very easy to get ahold of. They encourage going to see her and we have constant wellness activities such as free massages and yoga.

Patiently waiting to hear something from Purdue, Ohio State, Mizzou, Mississippi State and Illinois. Starting to get paranoid!

Make sure to check your spam folder if you applied to Mizzou. Everything they sent me regarding receiving my application was through normal email but the admissions decision (rejection unfortunately) email got filtered to my spam folder and I've heard of interview invites getting filtered to spam as well

have already checked spam folder! still had nothing 🙁
 
Purdue likes to wait until the last day of finals which is this Friday. They email everyone at once and it will be either a rejection or an interview invite.
 
I’m getting super nervous for Friday since I’ll most likely hear back from Ohio and Purdue and definitely Colorado. Hopefully one of those (cough cough Purdue) will be good news 🙁 Fingers crossed.

OOS is so competitive. I'm not expecting much but it would be nice to get an interview just for practice 😉 Good luck!

Good luck everyone!! Hope you guys hear something today. Last year I actually heard back from Colorado and Purdue on the same day so hopefully some of you get double good news.

Congrats to the people who got invites! For the people who didn't try not to let it get you down too much, I got rejected from 8 schools last year and I just finished my first semester of vet school so you never know!
 
Interview OOS! I’m so excited (especially since I will probably be rejected from CSU any moment and not sure about Ohio either). I scheduled for January 26th in the afternoon.

Glad you all heard today! They had over 1200 applicants this year, so don’t be too hard on yourselves if you were rejected. All you need is one yes.

Still haven't figured out who you are @bjeh is.... any hints??? And wow 1200 is a lot.
 
Congrats to everyone with interviews! I was waitlisted last year after interviews and outright rejected this year. Oh well, I’m already accepted at another school and have 4 other interviews and still waiting to hear from my IS. Purdue is a great school though.

OOS interview! I am so excited. I'm from NC. Should I plan on driving (10 hours) or flying? I'm unsure about the weather and I don't want to have a flight on Thursday end up being cancelled but I also don't want to drive 10 hours. Any advice?
 
Feel free to ask any questions 🙂 also to those rejected - it’s not the end! I got rejected my first time around and still made it here!

I flew from Virginia Beach if that helps. Much easier to travel that way 🙂
