Flawed logic. If you speak more but are consistent from game to game, people will start to identify that as 'normal' for you.

She was using language yesterday that would strongly support what I think they are trying to do, but it would also make sense for you to push me after the fact and conveniently have 2+ of them on your village list. Edit: forgot I wanted to comment on that last line too. You know wolves have killed someone to condemn someone else, right? So killing you to frame AM or whomever else you listed as suspect, could be a smart wolf move if those people are village. If one or all of them is a wolf, well, then killing you could also be a great idea, because would they really be that “stupid”? Anyway, it’s just one of those comments that makes me eye roll a bit.

I know for a fact that there were two kill attempts last night and one of them didn't go through. This leads me to believe that the ability thief got the ability to kill from stealing VMH's ability.
VMH also gets sketch points for sheeping the Britz vote and having a whopping 4 posts after the mayor vote.
Now why would the ability thief not share that they got a kill ability from VMH? If they were village they would. This leads me to believe we have a chaos role mucking about and they are the ability thief.

So I nearly responded earlier to Pippys "I don't buy that" comment that it doesn't really matter to me that she doesn't buy it, because she's only 1 vote. But I think a lot of folks will be following her vote onto me. Heck, I could probably follow her reasoning as well, if it wasn't me that was the target.

While I hold this as part of a set of common wolf-tells, I don't think I've ever mentioned it on SDN so you're probably thinking of MJ.

Jilary - ehhhh null. Gets village points for straight up asking Britz what she was doing last night. But beyond that all of her posts either drive the Britz lynch or are about WIFOM/mechanics. Would like to see some more. Still null but setting off flags because of consistent lack of analysis and voting on feels this far in.

Teeps - already mentioned why my vote could go here. Tacking on the fact that his first post was to vote for Britz after Genny straight up said she knew what Britz did last night. He could have used that for reasoning, but decided to say that he was adding pressure to Britz. There was already pressure mounting.

Allie and FS - Sheeped, and then both dug at Genny's reasoning/results post-britz flip. Red flags on this. I expect veteran village would have stopped pushing that items v.s. ability line of inquiry as soon as Genny said it was an item.

VMH - Sketch points for sheeping the Britz vote + 4 actual game related posts. True litmus test will be if there are two kills tonight which lends heavy credence to the theory that ability thief gained a kill due to stealing VMH's wolfiness as well as ability.

Considering that village block is dead and people are still getting blocked, I think it is a reasonable assumption that there is a wolf blocker.

Unless the ability thief that vmh mentioned is wolfy and can delay the use of what they steal (like, steal Crayola's block before she died, use it on a delay. Probably would be hard to establish a pattern on that anyways, though.)

Weird for Meats to point that out in the first place, btw. I don't feel like she is usually that free with sharing things like night results.

I thought for a long time before sharing those results on thread but ultimately decided that sharing that on thread helped village more than not sharing it. I also don't think that an ability thief would have been able to knick Crayola's ability the same night they killed her, because I believe that was N1 and that was when my own ability was stolen. In my experience in other games ability thieves usually have to use or lose an ability, they can't hoard them until they see fit or anything like that.

I would say the choice of block target last night seems wolfy to me. LIS usually plays strong for the village and choosing to block him over some other players who have gotten more suspicion on thread doesn't seem like a choice a village blocker would make.

I think you need to streamline your thinking a bit. It makes more sense for there to be a wolf ability thief than for there to be all of the other things above happening at once.

Again, I think you're making a lot of presuppositions. You mention that you know for a fact there were two kill attempts last night but you're not thinking about whether it's something like an every other night kill, a kill that only works on characters from a certain franchise, a one time extra kill, etc. Having two kills tonight says about as much about my potential wolfiness as having one kill tonight. Also, as I said above, stealing a pack kill is usually not something ability thieves can do. I also think you haven't totally clarified this theory, since you mentioned that for this theory an ability thief stole both my "wolfiness" and another ability of some sort.

I get that you're very focused on my low number of posts but I think that's not always a fruitful place to focus for wolf hunting. I'll agree I wasn't particularly content heavy last night, but I did give information valuable to the village within those posts.

This analysis requires a lot of other presuppositions to be true: that I am a wolf with a kill ability that can be stolen (wolf pack kills are usually treated as a group ability rather than an individual ability) Precedent is there, IIRC MirrorTodd was an ability thief in AotG and was able to gain the ability to wolf kill from stealing, that having my ability stolen wouldn't block the wolf kill for the night wouldn't necessarily if you weren't the wolf designated for the kill, that there's a chaos player who is also an ability thief explained the reasoning behind why I think there is a chaos player, not just an assumption, and that even if I were a wolf with an extra kill attempt I would have been allowed to submit a second kill target that didn't go through even though this supposed ability had been stolen. As you said, wolf-kill is a pack ability, if you weren't the wolf designated to do the kill, then this point you're making is null.

All of the above occurred to me as I thought through this theory. Its altogether too easy for you to claim this as a defense, but I have no indication that these variables are in play, so I'm going off of what variables I do know. I guess I'm just confused about why @genny needed to be so vague when she obtained the incriminating information through an item. It's not like she is a seer or tracker who needed to get the info out but still keep her ability on the down low. I do understand wanting to try and get Britzen to explain herself but idk I feel like now it's easy for wolves to throw suspicion onto those of us who pushed genny to elaborate. I totally forgot there was no PMing this game so I feel a bit obtuse now for questioning genny. I assumed if there was any kind of evidence of a wolf she would have tried to tell someone else or if she was the recipient, maybe she would have worded it differently.

This is extremely reaching. I in NO way was trying to get anyone to reveal their role as seer or tracker. I was merely confused (like I said) about why Genny was being so discrete over an item result which was imo unnecessary.

I don't like this. You are a good player and in the last few games, I've played you have been very logical and a smart player. The fact that you are now crediting it to noobness just sounds like excuses..

This is sending up all kinds of red flags for me. You've played with me in 2 games. The first, I was a wolf. The second, I died N1 or N2, I can't remember. So if you want to analyze my wolf play style and call me a "logical and smart" player then by all means go ahead but I really don't think you don't know my play style well enough to be making these calls. I'm not calling myself a true noob, I'm just still feeling a little rusty.

I'm not really into PMing that much but I did role reveal to both WZ and Teep earlier this afternoon. I just did it in the interest of spreading info and hoping to gain a little credibility if either of them knew who my other comrades were. That's all I'm going to say about that. WZ was friendly, Teep won't say much to me because I'm on his sketch list but he did share his reasoning for thinking I'm sketchy.

I don't see Genny being someone to bus a fellow wolf that hard that early in the game. I'd do it, but it takes a level of gumption and assholery that most people don't have.

I feel like she would totally do that. But that being said, I haven't really gotten anything but villagey feels from her posts so far.

Normally I don't get all up in arms until I have a few votes going for me but this ENTIRE post has me rolling my eyes and shaking my head.

This is extremely reaching. I in NO way was trying to get anyone to reveal their role as seer or tracker. I was merely confused (like I said) about why Genny was being so discrete over an item result which was imo unnecessary.




This is sending up all kinds of red flags for me. You've played with me in 2 games. The first, I was a wolf. The second, I died N1 or N2, I can't remember. So if you want to analyze my wolf play style and call me a "logical and smart" player then by all means go ahead but I really don't think you don't know my play style well enough to be making these calls. I'm not calling myself a true noob, I'm just still feeling a little rusty.

Sorry but your reasons for wanting to lynch me are weak at best. They're all quite a reach and honestly I'm tempted to lynch you over it.

This is extremely defensive for one post where I didn't even vote to lynch you. But to answer your questions. 1) You are a good player and even if you think you aren't I think you are and the fact that you were a good wolf as well makes me wary of you. 2) eh, just the way it came across to me. It was your wording of it that seemed sketch not your confusion (or said confusion?). 3) Oh well I thought I played more games with you then just two. I have a tendency to think I know the meta for a person after only one game of playing with them so yes I will say that of those games you seemed like a good player and if you can play a smart wolf then you can play a smart village.

More to the point .... I just don't think it's beneficial to get TOO paranoid at this point in the game. D1 Genny catches a wolf through a believable mechanism. Odds are very high it's real. Is there a possibility she bussed a fellow wolf? Sure. Of course. Am I gonna worry about it too much at this point? No way. Village until proven otherwise. *shrug*

If I'm your top suspicion and you have all these reasons in your head, why be so non-committal? It's like you're waiting to see if I gain any traction and then you can come back later and vote for me if other people agree.

I also think I have a right to defend myself after three people have either said I'm their top pick or have voted to lynch me. Teep, you, and AM have all mentioned me. It's my husband's birthday and we're both miraculously off... I promised him I wouldn't be glued to this game all day so I won't be around much after this.

Uh, no. I did not say that. At least, not the way you are characterizing it. I explicitly said it was NOT something I was "worried" about, but was going to keep my vote elsewhere to keep up discussion. The wording you used made it seem like you were worried that the bandwagon on Britzen indicated she might be village, because of a generic "bandwagons = scary bad" kind of thing.

Perhaps I am misinterpreting, but I can go grab the quote if you would like. It was somewhat odd phrasing.

So I nearly responded earlier to Pippys "I don't buy that" comment that it doesn't really matter to me that she doesn't buy it, because she's only 1 vote. But I think a lot of folks will be following her vote onto me. Heck, I could probably follow her reasoning as well, if it wasn't me that was the target.

Your wording earlier today implied prescience that I would not expect to see from a villager. That, plus the timing of your vote and a couple other things that pinged my radar --> why I am voting for you.

Maybe it was just weird wording, fine. I will be wrong. But I just kinda feel like there is something weird going on here. Too many people are mimicking language and trains of thought for all of this to be purely 100% coincidence.

Honestly, maybe it's just that everyone is being a better villager than I am right now and is correctly lynching Allie. But multiple people have now started circling on her today, and if she does not flip wolf then I would seriously like to come back to those people who were pushing that vote -- behind the scenes and in front of it.

When is there a “wolf surplus”? This doesn’t make any sense to me.

I mean a higher than normal wolf-villager ratio. I don't know how kaydubs usually distributes things. I'm just using some artistic license here.

Edit: forgot I wanted to comment on that last line too. You know wolves have killed someone to condemn someone else, right? So killing you to frame AM or whomever else you listed as suspect, could be a smart wolf move if those people are village. If one or all of them is a wolf, well, then killing you could also be a great idea, because would they really be that “stupid”? Anyway, it’s just one of those comments that makes me eye roll a bit.

Ok, so roll your eyes. I'm just saying that if I were wolfing, I would probably not be killing me tonight if I was right about things. Maybe if I'm way off base with the theories. In that case, ok sure.

I am not pushing to lynch you. I said you were my top suspicion at that time, but I hadn't finished my analysis so I didn't lynch you yet. I kept getting distracted so my analysis took longer then normal. Thats fair to defend yourself if you are top of some peoples list and won't be around. I thought I was the only one who had mentioned you as sketch today when you made that over the top defensive post. The retalitary vote for me seems like a village move, but I'm still sketched out by the things I already mentioned.

Hm. I agree with this. I'm still debating switching my vote. I can't decide if your point is strong enough to make me switch or not.

Top Suspicions: Allie - reasons stated, not playing like I remember, repeating other peoples thoughts, and overly defensive about the mention of her being sketch. Hopefully I'm not tunnelling. WZ and Pippy's interactions yesterday where they both were sketched out by each other made me think of a mild version of LIS and Pippy from last game where they were both wolves. I want to say that pippy is leaning more village though because of the numerous word vomitting posts. So I'm leaning towards WZ being the wolfy one based on that. Jil seems to be tunnelling more then I remember (britz yesterday and mel today) and repeating other peoples thoughts. AM seems quieter this game but not sketchy (which I usually think she's sketchy so that is weirding me out). I want to here more from Cyndia before I decide either way with her. MJ and Teep are WIFOM what would the mod do? Teep joined late in the game so would kdubs add another wolf going from 17 to 18 players? Could be. His posting sticks him at a solid neutral for rn. And would she more likely put an MIA player as village, wolf, or third party?
