Yeah, I get it. I liked it, too. But looking backwards, they always wanted more ... information ... than in real life you can confidently get. Survey bloodwork guides you, and might be confirmatory, but it's much more rarely pathognomonic that a lot of ClinPath instructors would lead you to believe.

I'm actually gonna say that's a tid bit of BS because it should have at least been clear that it was unlikely to be a wolf ability. The wording I have is not sketchy in the least. It could just be interpreted multiple ways and I hadn't thought to ask for clarification.

I preface this with the mod really dislikes everyone who participated in the last hour of lynch idiocy. In protest, see the following results.

After a lot of yelling and squabbling, the players came to the same conclusion. Snowy & Teeps had to go. Despite previous knowledge of a certain mod's handling of ties, the participants thought, "Let's leave kaydubs to decide." Chants calling for bloodthirst rang out.

You almost got what you wished for.

Two lightning bolts shot down from the sky. @Teepster87 - Gambit (unfortunately a vanilla villager due to joining the game late but who could have had an AWESOME ROLE ABILITY) was incinerated.

@SnowshoeDog143 , on the other hand, seemed to absorb the strike, glowing brightly momentarily before returning to normal. "Hm, that's weird. I didn't expect to survive that."

It is Day 4 (Yeah, that's right, skipping right over night 3, ya jerks). Lynch deadline is ~9:30pm Eastern.

Well I thought it sounded sketchy or I guess it kinda sounded more chaotic then anything else because it was so vague. I can post my wording I got on thread, but I also pmed it to vmh if you'd rather I not. Yes it could be interpreted different ways, but as I said before that is why I was waiting to make a decision about you.

I kinda wish we knew you had stolen a lynch avoidance before you got involved in a tie

(....and if you did reveal this and I missed it, sorry - I'm skimming on my phone while watching lectures)

Back to your regularly scheduled Sporty thoughts:

Mel- opened a PM with me today, had some discussion during my lunch break. Seems pretty village to me right now.
genny- I'm not sure I've played with her much, so I can't speak for what she would do as a wolf... but I have a hard time believing most players would bus a fellow wolf on D1.
Pippy- frankly, a lot of her posts still are tweaking me out. I appreciate the extensive talking she did today, but I'm unconvinced by the Teep vote, and just seemed overly defensive for the Pippy I'm used to. Part of me definitely wants to trust the theory that she's truly just busy and tired, but I also know I suffer bleeding heart syndrome when I play this game, which is why I'm trying to trust my gut feeling about her posts more. Also not sure why she was barking up the genny tree, for reasons stated above. However, has seemed to be posting more normal within the last few hours.
Dubz- I am not picking up on people's wolfy feels for her. Her play seems right on par for village Dubz.



Wrote all of this above before that lynch chaos.

Wasn't sure what to think about the Snowy situation til that last post she made about throwing a vote to AM (the entire post, not just the bit about AM). Frankly, she seems like she's grasping at any straw she can find, and it makes me uncomfortable.
 
Feeling lynch snowy because ability stealing is sketch. Even if wubz has more avoidances, that's passive and can be dealt with later as needed.

Also cause I am leaving at 2:30am to drive to the airport to see my lovey 😍 and probably won't be around much tomorrow. Probably minimal the rest of this week tbh...

Okay if I can paraphrase it. My pm said something like her ability was... interesting. And kdubs would tell me if it was needed during this cycle. the last part made me think tie breaker, but the "....interesting" sounded sketch to me.

Well in any case the reason I was suddenly unsure about whether I could avoid lynch or not was that the ability was described as a kill avoidance, day or night. In my head I remembered it as lynch or night kill avoidance, but when I went to double check (after posting that snowy wouldn't be able to be lynched), I realized it actually said I would avoid a kill attempt. So that could be interpreted as only kills via player actions.

Anyway turns out my first interpretation was right.
 
The whole reason I even mentioned that my ability was stolen was that it made me vulnerable. I figured if the wolves had stolen it they would go ahead and kill me overnight while I was vulnerable so they wouldn't have to worry about it later. If that happened I hoped someone would look back and see that it had been stolen, so thief was probably a wolf.

Well I didn't know what it was that I had stolen and my ability is sketch as all get out so its not like I really wanted to tell people. I've been using it to try to guess who is village based on their ability which is why I was willing to tell vmh, because I am leaning her village. But I wasn't going to tell her when I was leading lynch because also that would make me even more sketch except she asked and it was a last minute decision I made on the spot. Probably not wise. Ya'll can lynch me tomorrow, because I don't have much more to say in my defense. If you think I'm sketchy because of things I've said/done on thread, fair, but lynching me just off abiltiy is weak. Easy for wolves to jump on so be mindful of that.

B.S.

We lynch people for a LOT less than their ability - it isn't even close to "weak." Your ability is totally sketch, and lynching you is totally justified. It's at least a 50:50 gamble whether you're a wolf based on that ability, which is a lot better than the odds on most lynches.

Just cause I'm voting for WZ (because I think lynch avoidance is slightly more sketchy than ability stealing) doesn't mean I don't think Snowy needs to go, too.
