Everything was submitted and verified by 6/15, including supplemental and application fee on Midwestern portal (green check on portal).

3.56 overall; 3.37 BCP; 3.27 sgpa
20AA; 19TS; 18 PAT; 23RC none below 18

Have over 150+ hours shadowing, 1200+ hours research with publication, 400+ volunteer, and the other works.
Figured the science gpa is lower, will update if status changes!

Wow, I will never understand how committees decide to waitlist applicants with stats and extracurriculars like yours

Congrats on the interview! But the waitlist means, I may or may not get an interview invite. The email said the admissions will regularly look over my application, and if they deem so, they will send an invite for interview.

You probably won't be late, but then again I don't know how many others have received an interview invite! I'm just going off what last years thread has, but you should still be fine for next week! Don't stress or worry too much, you are halfway there to a potential acceptance!

They email it out to you. Then you fill it out on their portal. I know the head of admissions has been out for a few days so I think that has slowed down apps.

Update for my earlier post: I ended up finding what the waitlist email looks like on an older thread and the email I received was different, more so about still waiting on something before making a decision. I emailed and they told me they still hadn’t received my letters. Does anyone know if it takes a while for AADSAS to forward letters? My committee packet was uploaded last Wednesday. Thanks!

Edit: just recieved a response that there was a glitch in their system and they had to manually pull my letters, just future reference for anyone else who has this issue!

From reading the previous years threads, it was not uncommon for people to find out their status a week or two after receiving the waitlist email. It has been almost 2 weeks since I received my waitlist email. So people on the waitlist may start hearing something soon!

I am in the Master's program at Midwestern. Master's students don't get interviews until around March. I have heard of exceptions to that but it is super rare.

600+ Dental Assisting hours/Shadowing hours

600+ Other Healthcare Experience hours
& two weeks dental experience in a third-world country

Not sure why they denied you with those ECs and GPA.. I’m sure you’ll have plenty of other interviews though. Were you waitlisted here before the denial or just straight up denied?

I am from AZ but I am in the master's program at Midwestern so I'm a little unique. I think they are still going through apps, last time I talked to admissions here (last week??).

*** It looks like last year they were still offering interviews into August.

Use choicehotels.com ... the school had one of the cheaper hotels on the bottom of the second page of that list of hotels.

There's even hotels as cheap as $39/night before tax but 8 miles from school which isn't bad

Yes I was wondering the same thing. It seems that this year may be a little different than last years. Last year people who were waitlisted knew with in the next couple weeks! I was waitlisted almost a month ago and......silence
