Hey, I've been on here for a while but never registered. I applied late (September) but I got invited for an interview on Tuesday 3/19.2013!!!!. I'm unspeakably excited but wondering if its too late and if my chances are lower then slim, has anyone heard of a post march acceptance, or would this be the last round?
 
Nothing here yet, i'm anxiously awaiting for their decision. I interviewed on the 5th of this month and they said they would send out a decision at the end of the March/early April.
 
anyone know when the waitlist will start to move for mwu-il???
 
Rejected. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Half the MABS class got accepted but I didn't. I really thought I had a chance.

Anyways, good luck to the rest of you.

When did you take the interview? were you on the waitlist? when did you hear from the school? Can I ask your stats? Thx
 
So if you didnt hear back it means your wait listed or rejected. Right?

Within the next 2 weeks you'll see alot of movement at every school. I believe tomorrow all the schools get 'the list' of all the students who have paid deposits at multiple schools.. from there we will see movement all over for the next 2 ish weeks we'll have a wild ride! Good luck to everyone.

Yeah, hopefully we will see some movement. But it might be staggered. This is because schools get the list April 5th. Then they have to give students 15 days notice to decide. So I do not think it will be this instantaneous thing were a lot of spots will suddenly open up....but hopefully by the end f the moth a good amount of movement will have occurred.
 
Anyone else got in? So I am guessing they are done with this set of acceptance letters ( people who interviewed in previous month)?

Does anyone know if they sent all acceptances on one day or are they spreading the invitations out?
 
Does anyone know if the admission committee has met yet this week?
 
the committee met yesterday (4/3). I know this because I contacted one of the people who makes the decision.
 
Received an acceptance e-mail today @ 3pm! Definitely accepting the offer. Good luck to everyone else.
 
Accepted today at 2:00pm via email. I am going to be a dentist! I interviewed March 5th during the small blizzard. To those who have not been accepted yet, never give up on your dreams.
 
Do you think that they sent out all of the acceoptances in one day? If you did not get an acceptance are you out?

Accepted yesterday! I interviewed last Thursday, March 28.
 
Did anyone from 3/14 interview date get accepted?
 
I think people who didn't receive an email yesterday are either waitlisted/rejected. 🙁

I spoke to admissions yesterday and they said they are accepting in batches and hope to have everything wrapped up by Monday
 
so when you say they accept in batches, do you mean that they don't send out all acceptances at once and space them out? I know the answer may seem obvious, but due to the lack of transparency from pretty much every dental school, it's hard to really know the truth.

Make sure up also check your Midwestern app portal

Just saw on my portal that I still need an anatomy class in order to complete my checklist! I had no idea PLUS they already interviewed me! Has this happened to anyone else?
 
if you're missing a pre-req, you're okay. just make sure you have the classes done by the time classes start. in other words, you'll have to take it over the summer if you're accepted.

That was the day I interviewed as well, just got my acceptance too. Congrats!
 
I was placed on the alt list, I found out on 4/4 when I called admissions. Keeping my hopes up, I'm trying to gauge exactly how many people are on the list and what my chances are
 
Just an FYI: If you have the option of seeing your checklist of pre-reqs in the portal, then that means you're waitlisted. I interviewed at both Arizona and IL, and I see a checklist for both schools in my portal.
 
Has anyone been accepted off the alternate list ?
 
hi, emadz89, i will be D1 student in CDMI this coming august, do u have any suggestion for apartment rental, I come from texas, so have not much idea whats going on up there, I plan to drive my car, so any apartments within 10 miles will work, thx so much.
